I'm surprised there wasn't already a thread for this.

Anyway, audiosurf is best described wipeout meets guitar hero meets tetris, you play as a spaceship-type-thing flying along a fretboard-type-thing trying to hit coloured blocks to form large clumps of the same colour, the larger the better. The USP? You can play any track on CD, MP3 or pretty much any other music format you can come up with and, it features global, regional and friends-only scoreboards for every song anyone's ever played.

All this for only £1.50 (or at least, it was when I got it).

Oh, and did I mention that it also comes with the orange box soundtrack?

So, who else plays it, what songs are good to surf and which side do you come down on in the mono/puzzle debate? :)

My favourite track to surf (besides the obligatory, hardest track in any rhythm game, through the fire and flames), at the moment is Nefi and Girly by asobi seksu, a shoegaze band. Despite having a relatively low traffic congestion, the contrasts make the red sections seem pretty intense and makes it, for me at least, more fun than TtFaF. I'm a mono player.

I've just played black sails at midnight by alestorm on it, the hardest ride I've ever had, the congestion's over the 300 mark and it's straight reds all the way down.
