Titanic: lost in the darkness

So, there's a bunch of guys making a game on Cryengine 3 called Titanic: lost in the darkness. It's gonna have a story, but the most interesting part is they're modeling the entire ship in super ultra realistic insane rendered 3D, interior and exterior. They say the whole ship will be explorable including crew areas, cabins, etc. and they're building it from the real deck plans.

thats really cool  ;D and it does look really accurate. whats Cryengine 3, though? and how do you make such realistic enviroments?

It's the engine Crysis 2 uses. its insane as far as capabilities with graphics and stuff as you see :P

Wow. How did I not know about this sooner! It's good to see they're still making progress on the game/mod, though the lead modeler is currently working on a separate project. Too many of these projects just kinda disappear after a while.
