This is a topic about the Playstation Move ( for PS3 ) and Project Natal ( for Xbox360 ) and also when this will be available the Wii might be not good enough anymore?

Playstation Move:
Kinda like the Wii-remote but the Move has LED-lights on a plastic ball on top of it and can change into a thousand different colour, comes in handy for painting games! Some games that already exist on PS3 will get an update so that you can the use the Move for it, one confirmed update is for LittleBigPlanet, its such a good game and with the Move it will be more fun. At the end of the year the Move will be available for sale and in Europe costs it €75,- and thats includes the PlaystationEye, a game ( just like Wii Play ) and the Move.

Project Natal:
No remote or anything, just a camera thats tracks your movement. Would be cool, just like Eyetoy. ( Sorry, I dont know alot about Project Natal, feel free to add information about it. But what I did say with Project Natal was a game in it with a boy, then you write something on a piece of paper and hold it for the camera, the boy in the game 'sees' that and give an answer to it. )

Wii:
Need to come up with something new??.... And not some fitness machine

But what I really would are shooters for this, I think with the Move and Project Natal, shooters will be more realistic and also fighting would be more fun. I cant wait for it, especcially with shooter games.

Have you used WiiMotion+? It's really good.

I reckon Natal and Move are just Sony and Microsoft retaliating to a threat that doesn't exist (as one reporter very nicely put it (sadly, can't remember who), Wiinis envy). They'll both fail miserably IMHO. When an accessory is not bundled with the console, very few games can be released exclusively for it (unless they are bundled with it) as their market would be heavily reduced; and too much time can't be spent on integrating support for said accessory alongside normal support as it wouldn't be economically viable for the few extra sales they'll get from the people who bought it. In other words, very few games will make decent use of either.

I'm with Muzer on this. IMHO they will fail. Nintendo went through extinsive planning and has had a two(?) year head start.

The Wii Motion+ makes it perfect. Wii Sports Resort was awesome and wasn't specialised to anything. I can't wait for Zelda Wii so I can see what Nintendo does with the combat(sp).

If you wan't to know why I think they will fail, the Move will eat through batteries like mad and Project Natal will probably have the same problems the EyeToy did.

Muzer: What do you mean by a threat that doesn't exist?

PS3 and 360 are really only competing against each other.  The Wii kind of occupies a separate market.  Certainly there are overlaps, but in general, what PS3 and 360 do won't affect Wii that much, and what Wii does won't affect PS3 and 360 that much.

So, the end result is it won't make much of a difference either way.

Well, most people with the money have both the Wii and one of the other consoles. They are very different it seems; both consoles are better for different types of games (I actually prefer the sort of games the Wii has but I know many people would disagree). So they shouldn't really be competing as such; more complementing each other.

Good point. They are still in competition though since all three of them are gaming consels(sp). That and the Wii/Nintendo is targeting a market that the PS360 doesn't and is thusly dominating the consol wars Sony/Microsoft is going to copy Nintendo in hopes of making more muney.

I reckon they shouldnt do it, for the PS3 at least, it just sounds like an upgrade to their SixAxis controllers, and SixAxis controllers are hell as fun to use while play GTA and other games that support
