Your Top 5 Games!

Hey ya'll. It's kind of like the Top 5 Movies thread, but for games!

All consoles, PS1-3, Xbox, Xbox360, Nintendo (from the beginning to the Wii), Dreamcast etc etc! Anything goes. So Here is mine!

1. It's gotta be the Metal Gear Solid saga to be honest, it's so awesome and I hope that if they end up making a film for it, that that is just as awesome too!

2. Prince of Persia, mainly the second and third, due to the awesome soundtrack, awesome gore, awesome
tricks and awesome action.

5. I think it's gotta be Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. With over 300 hours of playtime to do on this game it's almost limitless, great graphics for when it was released and there is so much customizability!

4. World of Warcraft, Yes we all know that the majority of players are complete idiots and that a lot of the people who play the game end up hating eachother yadda yadda yadda. But I've stopped playing it now and I had some really fun times with friends on that game, realm first kills and so on, camping low levels, it's all good!

5. Mario Kart for Wii! This game is priceless, after a while it gets a little tedious but it's one of the most nostalgic yet funnest games around at the moment. I could waste an entire evening on that with my friends.

My top 5, thats hard!

1) All Ratchet and Clank games! ( Cant decide! All R&C games are good, but Size Matters on PS2 could have been better! )
2) Uncharted 2 Among Thieves ( Thats one of the best games on PS3 and also the best graphics, I always feel im watching a movie, then rather playing a game! )
3) Battlefield Bad Company 2 ( It owns MW2 and is rated M for Modern warfare 2 killer! lol )
4) LittleBigPlanet ( Great game for creative people! )
5) GTA IV ( So much fun with friends online! DLC to PS3 soon! Like 3 days away )

i also have betas of GoW3, BFBC2 multiplayer, PS Home and Motorstorm 2

1. Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles (Can never beat Genesis/MD Classics)
2. Guitar Hero 3 (Dragonforce, Disturbed, and Pat Benatar FTW!!!)
3. Halo 3 (Campaign is OK, Multiplayer is a LOT better, just little kids are in WAY too over their heads)
4. Sonic Adventure 2 (Dreamcast Version to me has better graphics)
5. Halo 2 (PC) - Custom Maps SOLD me out, plus I can still play this online!

Condensing all my favourite games into a top 5 really is not easy

1) Warzone 2100 [PC / PS1] In my opinion, the best RTS ever. Really love the single player story, and amazing unit customisation and research tree.
2) Call of Duty 4 [PC] Very fun FPS. MW2 is good, but they got quite lazy with it, it seems.
3) Unreal Tournament 2004 [PC] Another great fps, even had my own server for a while. Such a shame they took out so much stuff in UT3 (assault, invasion). The origional Unreal Tournament is also worth mentioning, had it for the PS2.
4) Dynasty Warriors 4 [PS2] Awesome hack & slash. I used to put quite alot of time unlocking everything in this back in my school days.
5) World of Warcraft [PC] I've put way, way too many hours into this for it to not be here

1) the Ratchet and Clank series - probably some of the coolest guns I've ever played with in any video game, very creative.  It's a great stress relief game and it makes me chuckle on occasion.

2) Star Wars: The Force Unleashed - really cool game in general, very challenging.  It has neat combat effects, and a lot of "wow, I'm epic" moments as well as it's fair share of "wow, I'm a loser" moments too.  and lets face it, what's cooler than shocking the snot out of stuff with lightening, bashing stormtroopers around with giant boulders and when all else fails : lightsaber.

3) Aion - as far as MMO's go this one's pretty good.  It's got beautiful graphics and effects in general and of course it's claim to fame, giant demon/angel wings for everyone.  It doesn't have much of a plot line (like NC Soft claimed it would), but it seems less grindy than a lot of the bigger MMOs. *cough WoW

4) Star Trek Armada 2 - very fun to multiplayer, and even though it's a pretty old game you can mod it to death

5) Starcraft - quite probably the best and most interestingly balanced strategy game ever made - can't wait for Starcraft II

All you need is a gamespy account and you can mp via the first options on the mp menu: "Internet - GameSpy", amazingly they haven't killed their servers yet (I just checked).  Hardly anyone plays anymore though
