Well, that's not bad idea. But this can be done only by human people and after Grace's death war was started between Na'vi and human, so who could take care about avatar without its operator?
But Cameron indicated, that Grace maybe return back in Avatar 2, therefore her avatar body will be needed again. That's why I hope it survive...

Well, Grace's avatar was with the Na'vi, so it could easily have been brought back to Hell's Gate. As it is though, I would estimate that in such a state as a dormant avatar, it should able to survive for several months at the very least, more with longer term effects but which could still be mitigated over time if Grace's memories are transferred to it). By placing it in one of the tanks, then it could survive essentially indefinitely.

in the pc game you become toruk makto (snip)

Well, the player becoming toruk makto is kinda high grip.
Neytiri tells us that Toruk Makto is both a honor title and a leader who unites the clans in times of great peril to face that threat united.
And here's the game:

Or:
Only mostly AWOL.

Yes, it gives good sense, it can survive by this way, if it wasn't harm during the war (what is not very probable).
Thanks for solving of my qualms :)

You think she might still need a cigarette or would that just stay in her (dead) human brain? :P

I'm not sure. Many smokers to quit smoking and stop suffering about it nevertheless say: Yes, for me tobacco no more need, but I still miss it.

Human No More

Well, addiction can be physical, psychological or both, but the point with that was it showed how little she cared about her human body, while she obviously cares about her avatar.

May be. It is interesting idea. ;)

As if she utterly rejected the human world, but knew she could never be one of the people no matter how much she wanted to be.

I always thought that it was because Grace has a thinner nose to begin with, and the Avatar's just follow their driver's appearnce. For instance, Norm has his mole still and Jake has his cleft-chin.

I noticed this too.

Amongst the other main character's avatars, Jake's looks more like a na'vi than the others.

The nose is broader and flatter, and the snout is much more pronounced.

It makes me wonder about whether or not new avatars, if introduced, will look more human or more na'vi, since the humans on Earth will have had time to make improvements on the process of making Avatars since the first movie.

Maybe his looked more Na'vi so
A: He would fit in as their new leader
B: He's the main character...
Makes you think! ;)

Human No More

It seems to vary among individuals, possibly some kind of compatibility issue between the two genetic sequences - some express human traits more strongly than others, with most avatars being somewhere in a middle point, while Jake's is the most Na'vi looking.

Perhaps it is in like children. Sometimes the child seems more like a mother, sometimes father. Here too, a mixture of genes.

I just assumed a way had been found to make Avatar's more Na'vi like.
Possibly less human DNA was used.

May be first avatars have 50/50 DNA, late 25/75 and Jake's avatar 10/90.
