Sorry for being a pain in the txìm, but i'm 99,99 % sure the phonemes ', f, h, l, m, n, r, s, v, w and z aren't vowels, they're consonants.

Sran they are consonants.  Here I'm referring to ', a, e, f, h, i, l, m, n, o, r, s, u, v, w and z... a little condensed ;)

Also the reason I chose æ over ä is because it's clearer to see that it's a different symbol, and is a less likely to get confused with a.

I just don't like the æ because I am using a portuguese keyboard and I do not have that kind of letter in my keyboard.  ;D Although I have all the others.

Yes, in Portuguese we use ´`^~ and we do not use ¨, but it is there anyway. If you click the key with ¨ and then the a, you get ä.

The Portuguese keyboard:

To explain, I'll have to talk a bit on Portuguese pronounce.
We have many sounds for each letter, but I will only refer to ç, c, s and z.

C is read as K, except if it before of a I or E - in these cases, it read as S (i.e. ce is read as SE, ci is read as SI, but ca is read as KA)
S is read as S or Z. Usually, it is read as Z - if you want to be to read as S, you must write SS (i.e. lisa > LIZA; lissa > LISA).
Z is read as Z.

As for Ç, it is read as S and it can only be used before an A, O or U - why? Because before a A, O or U, C is read as K; if you want it to be read as S, you must write Ç (i.e. liça > LISA; lica > LIKA).

Edit: if one wants some IPA, please tell me.

I just use ALT+0230.  If you have a Danish, Norwegian, or Scandinavian keyboard, you're lucky because it's already there :P

Hm, so is there another way to type special characters for laptops? :o On Macs it's quite easy: all the accents are on a distinct key. To place the accent it's 'option alt' + key, and afterwards you just have to type the character that must get the accent.

Only on the Danish keyboard, æ = ä in the other Scandinavian languages :)

Norway and Iceland both use æ.

I just found I have num lock, however I still think ä is better.  ;D

I haven't read all of it yet, but i can already tell it's very hard to learn  :P! However, i recognize some of the grammar from spanish (I study spanish in school), but i can tell portoguese have a lot more of the ``Personal pronoun/verb-hybrids´´ than spanish  :o

And my Spanish-teacher claims that it's much easier for a Swede to learn Spanish than it is for a Spanion to learn Swedish.

FYI, i was sarcastic  :P. What i meant was that i don't see how Spanish would be easier to learn, given it's complicated verb forms and such. Sure, Swedish is probably one of the toughest languages in the world, but i still think Spanish seems tougher to learn (You should probably take mt opinion as a grain of salt, since i've grown up with the Swedish language and, therefore, i'm biased.).
