Exactly, a copy for home and a copy for the road. When this comes out I'll be getting by on the theatrical version on my iPod until the extended version comes out.

Just pre-ordered mine today on Amazon.  Apparently it was a good time to do so: for the longest time the Bluray/DVD set was $26.99 US, and today it was 19.99US.  I took advantage of this small discount to pay for one day delivery.  I should have it by the weekend now.

Just picked up my preorder of Avatar today. Naturaly the Blu ray version, and I even bought a blu ray player just to watch the film :P
