Avatar script?

could someone send me a DL of the Avatar script? irayo.

I searched for it, but there were 35 pages to look through........ and I'm lazy.

I can't connect with sir.haxalot.com. atm.
But if that's the script I think it is, then it's very old, many differences to the released movie, almost no Na'vi language (it predates Frommers involvement).
The 1994/5 scriptment, also known as 'Project 880', is the script Cameron put in a draw for for years 'because the technology to make it the way [he] wanted didn't exist back then'.

It could have been made back then. With models, painted mattes, make up and prosthetics, plus some CGI.
But I for one, feel Cameron made the right decision.

I also feel that the movie as delivered was better than the 94/5 script would have made.

Is there an up to date script available?

ma archaic, it could have been done, but it most definitely wouldn't have been anywhere near the beauty and amazing effect that it has, having been made when technology was more up to date.

I'm not sure what the difference is in the script at sir.haxalot, however, Eyawng seems to believe it is different than the '94/'95 script.

is there a thread anywhere that is a discussion of the script? irayo.

I don't recall seeing it, but there's probably one here somewhere.

And yes they are very different, Jake is called Josh for a start, Neytiri is called Zulika.
There are many many more characters,
Jake, sorry Josh, is not the first Human to be mated with a Na'vi, just the latest in a long line.
Jake / Josh would not get his paraplegia fixed no matter what.
Administrator Parker Selfridge is Station supervisor Carter Selfridge.
Norm Spellman is called Norm Cheeseman.
Grace Augustine is called Grace Shipley.
Dr. Brantley Giese, the base Xenoanthropologist and the head of the Avatar Program
Rob Parrish, is a 'Bioethics Officer', who turn a blind eye to the RDA's behavior for money.
Marcia de los Santos, is a 'Feemedia Officer' Video documenting activities on Pandora, to send to earth.
Avatar and Na'vi fingers curve smoothly, bending without joints.
Avatars and Na'vi are only around eight feet tall, not nine to ten feet tall.
Venture Star is called Prometheus.
Tree's are blue, grass is magenta.

And this one is the biggy for me .....
Avatars are independently conscious life forms and have their own lives when not being controlled by their drivers.

There are so many others, that I'd exceed the 20000 character post limit if I tried to post them all.

There are two early scripts:

The 1994/5 scriptment (very different - see above)

The 2007 script (not quite the same as the shooting script- the Dragon gunship ends up in a lake and Wainfleet cuts off Tsu'tey's queue.)

OK, I've reworked some of the 1994/5 script to match what was in the original theatrical release, corisponding with Chapters one and two on the DVD.

Where do I post them? $:-\$

I remember downloading the project 880 script. Then I also remember finding a previous script, the original before it was edited into the project 880 script. Both files are on my big pc at my mom and dad's, so I don't have access to them right now. >.<

Compared to the original script, I like the project 880 script a lot more. It's not as dark as the original. And the flow of events is better as well. ^.^

But I prefer young script, because it more realistic. Old script looks much closer to children's story. And characters are more schematic.

Is it possible to get "real" script, which was used for shooting? Version 2007 is different from the movie, I'd like to find a version identical to film, if possible. Does anyone have it?

I've been looking for a copy of the final script as well.

I tried to answer someone's question using the 2007 yesterday, but the subtle differences in some of the lines made it very difficult.
