have a box to check to change it from stripes to sparkles to splotches depending on what the person is looking for.

I'm not saying that I'm making these into shirts, or doing any further design other than the outline. All I am offering is a high-res image of the design. I won't give out my .ai file of the design, although I'll upload pretty much any reasonable size. You are free to do what you like with the outline.

Since there's some interest in the shirt, I'll see if I can crank that one out this weekend. No promises, though.

there is another option for an ikran/toruk tatoo/forum avatar. When jake comes down to tribe with toruk, the creature relaxes into a very nice posture when viewed from a side. does anyone have a picture from the movie or/and can draw the sketch? it has both head and wings high, with wing tips slightly to the back, head to the front. Ikrans also sit like that in some shots, I think the best one is at the hells gate. Here is one that looks close:

in this shot the wings are almost good (may be closer to the body to be perfect), and if you lift his neck and head up, you'll get a nice side view.

Can you see it Under normal light?

The ink I used is invisible under normal light and white under UV light. There are 7 color Skin Candy inks available that are visible under normal light and glow under black light.

im actually a tattoo artist by profession and if anyone is going to put an avatar tattoo on someone it will be the artist nikko   i would follow his page to see what hes doing .... people are already getting that terrible image of johnny depp as the mad hatter ...:/

Your's are a lot more detailed than mine, very nice! (You said you used Photoshop, why not Illustrator? Although the curves look more like Illustrator...)

Being totally honest, i use GIMP because i don't have photoshop. Used the paths tool... ive found that tracing things with paths is about all i can do decently. (I cant draw things by hand worth a dang, dont have a drawing pad thingey either just my mouse)

I did my forum-avatar too, kind of small here though.

Yeah, okay, that makes sense. The path tool is basically what Illustrator is based around.

And no shame in paths and tracing. I learned how to draw by copying and re copying different works until I could "see" how it could be put together, and subsequently do it on my own.

Also being honest, i hadn't gone through the every page on this topic, didn't see that both of these (fat one from shirt image, skinny one from ASG) had already been shown, and in fact you had already re-did one. I need to screw with mine some more... they arent quite right. Especially the fat one. The image i traced it from was not symetrical and that screwed it up some (In nearly everything i do i just trace one side and duplicate it to make the other... easy symetry lol) one of the wing tips on it has a not-so-smooth curve too. hrmph.
Il see if i can motivate myself to screw with them some more.

Yep, screwed with it some more.
That t-shirt image was many times higher resolution then the forum-avatar i had orignally used, i re-did it using that. Much better now.
