I always thought that the carbon fiber strengthens bones all Pandoran inhabitants.

Yeah it does, but they were still flying pretty fast. Also, how did toruk manage to get through the whole battle without getting shot at least in the wing? He is so much bigger than an ikran i would think it would be easy...

We don't know that he wasn't injured. We only know that he didn't die.

Wing is a large surface area, but most of it is just a thin membrane.
A couple of bullet holes wouldn't be too serious, so long as they didn't hit something important.

Speaking of getting shot, im glad they didnt make seze explode with blood or something when she got shot, same thing when jake kills tsutey. I think its classy that james cameron doesnt add extra gore to attract the lower common denominator
