Speaking of interjections, probably the most mis-interpreted interjections, tì'efumì oeyä, are Zoë Saldaña's.  I never remember hearing "tsahey" or "wiya" anywhere in the movie.

Me either. Has there been talk that she said these things in the movie?

-Txonä Rolyu

Dunno as far as discussion goes, although one thing I will admit to: I blame the wiki for this :P

Notice that none of these are not marked as PF in the dictionary.  Very telling...

Sooo is there no one who knows what Tsu'tey actually says? Bringing this thread back to life. I am VERY curious to know what he says just before he runs to his ikran right after Jake's speech.

Hmmm, "at the skies." I suppose that could work, and you're right it does match the sound. Very good theory :) I must say though that IMO it would make more sense to say "ne saw," "to the skies" but your theory is close to that, and like I said, it does match the sound.

ro is used for locations i.e. kelkuro, kelkuro oeyä 'eylanä, numtsengero. I think the only word I use it with is "pähem." I know about "tok" for stating that I am physically at a location. I suppose though, that it wouldn't make sense to say "at the skies," but I don't know how to explain my thought process there.

I'm not sure off-hand where "tsa-hey cam from. I'd have to check my dictionary. I wouldn't put it past Cameron to invent that word though

There is a thread somewhere on the forums about that particular line from Neytiri. It's very old though, probably buried deep in the LN archives by now. I'm sure she is saying "Kawkrr ke slayu nga Na'viyä hapxì!" But the line where you have the question marks, I have the same thing. Even after like 10-11 times of seeing the movie I discern what word she's saying there or if it's even a word at all. It could just be a frustrated grunt or something.

Well the LN app on my iPhone doesn't say JC or PF or anything and I don't have the online dictonaries anymore. Haven't need them since I got the app. But I'd like to get back on topic. I'm trying to find out if Tsu'tey really said "huzzah" or not and if he didn't what did he say?

Just found this - and I have to say, I am quite surprised for so many of you hearing something like "huzzah". I suppose, the most of you will listen to the english audio, right?. So I started my DVD, and heard something quite similar to a "huzzaaaaah" (with a very elongated aaa") - in the german audio. But the english audio is very different from that. While the german has that one word or exclamation, the english has at least two distinct words, that hardly sound like "huzzah" for me.

After some 20 times hearing to it, trying not to look on the monitor, what about: tul eylan!

This.

I don't hear any n sound, nor do I hear 2 different words. I hear 1 2-syllable word that ends in ah.

Where you're right, you are right. Maybe this:

was mainly wishfull thinking ... (and I was too tired then).

I have attached the two versions of this call. Do you hear one of them at home, or do you have another one?
And you might find them to be slightly different from each other...

At least there might be an additional sound to that aaah-ending, something along "r" ?

Maybe it turns out it should be something (a 2-syllable compound or a call made of two 1-syllable words) ending with sar?

Whoa, yeah I definitely hear a difference in the voices, though what they're saying sounds the same. I have only heard the English version because that's the one I have. I don't hear an "r" sound.

Hmm...."sar" means "to use"...not sure what he could have said before that, it would have to be something with a -t(i) or -it eending because "sar" is transitive. Or perhaps Cameron vetoed the case ending for better sound? Idk. But like I said, I don't hear an "r" sound.
