Well I could easily see an ikran/toruk flight roller coaster, maybe a palulukan ride.    8)
Some animatronics, angtsìk perhaps, and of course no pandoran attraction could be complete with out nantang.  ;)
Hopefully the relevant cast members will be fluent Na'vi speakers.  :D

This could be awesome, but it could suck big time if not done right. I'm hoping for awesome.

If they need to hire people to speak Na'vi they better come here! I want to know about it!

Perhaps the excellent Na'vi speakers here should approach Disney, offering consultant services.  Perhaps karyu Pawl could put in a good word for you.  Perhaps he could approach them with an offer and recommend some of you.

Lots of 'perhapses' (perhapi?).   ;D

At any rate, Disney needs to be made aware of the resources available in the language dept.

I LOVE this!

Just saw it on FB myself.

We need to go there, even if it has to be in small groups, just so we can wander around and speak Na'vi.

Hey, possible job opportunity for a Na'vi speaker, srak?

My kids will flip once I tell them.   :D

Yeah, I know, talking to myself here, LOL!  Wouldn't be the first nor the last time, I'm sure.   ;D

My kids DID flip, I told them on the phone last night, should have heard our girl, she was squeeing with happiness.   :D

Agree... Something I doubt it.

(rol) Na'vi land...Na'viland.. where the prices are high and the sights are grand!

tewti This is wonderful news. And to built in the animal kingdom exhibit, besides. (Unfortunately, I didn't do my planning homework for a trip to Orlando i took this summer, and missed both Animal Kingdom and the Kennedy Space Center.)

Although I have some reservations about Disney doing this, there is little question that Disney is the master at this sort of thing, and I am sure whatever they come up with will be txantsan nìwotx

The 2013 meetup in Las Vegas is safe. And the 2014/2015 might be a little premature to move the meetup to Orlando, as it sounds like it will take a while to build this exhibit. (Palalukan aymakto srak? fìtseng za'u oe!)

If I could get employment there as a Na'vi speaker there, I would seriously consider it. In that venue, it might even be lionkeeper and Na'vi speaker!

Although this news does make me nervous to some extent (I agree with the Disney-fication concerns), I will reserve judgement until I begin to see concept art and pictures of it.

Maybe I missed it in the article, but did it mention where "Pandora" will be? Or how big it will be?

Anyways, I hope it will include some life-size (so to speak) animatronics of all the creatures of Pandora. It would be awesome to see a life size Toruk especially!

May the odds be ever in your favor.

Sounds like it will be within the Animal Kingdom.  A life-sized toruk would be cool!  It would be amazing if it was open at night and featured the bioluminescent flora and fauna we all love.

I don't care how child friendly it is! I just want it to BE! I have already told my Florida-averse partner to get over it and plan this trip! I am going or else! Thankfully my little home town has a super cheap direct flight to Orlando for $99 one way, just 1 1/2 hours! I see many trips in my future! I would love it if they offered "hotel" space on "Disney-Pandora"! They already rent rooms out in the Cinderella Castle, why not a "Hometree' style dwelling. I know this smacks of rank commercializm but I guess it DID all spring from a commercial venture. I don't have a problem with making Disney richer by making multiple pilgrimages to the new Pandora world. I jsut want to stand there and SEE it all with my eyes and TOUCH it with my hands.

What I fear though, is them messing up with the Na'vi language. JC did so a bit (Utraya Mokri in the movie), ASG did it a lot (see my sig), and Avatar Game simply blew it. I wouldn't like to be lead around on a tour by a five-fingered Na'vi with a plastic tail that calls himself "Bacdajuquadanshich" (just kidding).

Yes, I'm afraid of this too.

BTW I don't really like watching AVATAR too much anymore mainly because of the bad Na'vi.

Tìng makyun (ta Grace)
Turuk Mäktow (said quietly by Mo'at)
Na'viya luyu hapxi.
Kawk slayu na Na'viyä hapxì! (Neytiri)

And the biggest of them all:

Utraya Mokri!
It was the ONLY incidence of gibberish Na'vi in the ENTIRE movie. I actually spent like 20 minutes doctoring that part of the audio to make it sound like Utral Aymokriyä. It did at the end, but it didn't sound like Neytiri anymore...more like a speech synthesizer.

Blue Elf

Don't forget, that at the time of shooting knowledge about Na'vi language wasn't so huge as these times, also actors aren't linguist :) (BTW Czech dubbing is "wonderful" regarding Na'vi too, although some sentences are dubbed quite well)
Regarding "Utraya mokri" - I think this expression was created by JC and later changed by PF (I think), but in the movie older version was used. I also don't like it, but don't expect that film will be corrected (although it would be great). Despite of this, no reason to not see the movie again (haven't seen it for a few months, I'd sacrifice one nigth for this again)

We must only hope, that Avatar 2 and 3 will be better regarding the language.

I've seen references to "ASD", and that it's virtually destroying the Na'vi language.  In my scope of knowledge, "ASD" refers to "autism spectrum disorder" or "atrial septal defect".  I'm aware that the "ASD" being referred to here on the boards is likely neither of these.  I'm assuming it's some sort of game platform?

Please enlighten the uninitiated, aka me.

Thanks much.
