Interesting that you've posted on this forum before seeing the movie.

Discussions on other fora piqued my interest in the language... so I went hunting & found learnnavi.org, amongst other sites - but, learnnavi.org looks to be the best! - to my great pleasure  ;D

I hope you and your wife enjoy it as much as I have.
Keep the glasses (and the packets), you can use them when you go back to see it the second time, and the third, and the forth....

Okay, so the old podcast is here: https://www.podomatic.com/podcasts/radioavatar It was goofy fun that ended too soon, but we had creative people. I hope we can get a new gang together (interested? PM me, let's make some magic!)
(Very old, outdated) Na'vi FUN activity book is here: But what are you doing? Let me know! :)

You guys get to keep the glasses? ???
Here in France, we are required pay 2 euros extra on top of the ticket price and we have to give the glasses back on the way out.

Yeah we get to keep glasses, plus only cost 80 pence (0.80GBP = 0.91EUR). You should complain (jokes)  ;). Curse at them in Na'vi? If they think your crazy enough they might let you in for free ;D

New numbers!

Avatar 2D: 2x
Avatar Real 3D: Now at 42x
Avatar Imax: 3x

[46 paid screenings - as of 2/20/2010, additional screenings are $0]
Add $58.00 to the grand total.

From here on out, all screenings are going to be $0. The manager at the local theater has relented and given me free admission because i've screened Avatar at his theater over 40 times. We can either "assume i paid" or i can just increment the numbers accordingly without adding anything.
See that shadow? It's the last one you're gonna see.

Ha, another two on my account. That's 25.86 $.
And all just because the cinema at my friends town didn't show "The book of Eli".

I've had 5 Viewings of Avatar in 3D:

In British Pounds that's roughly £49.90, rounded up to £50.00
and converted into US Dollars that is $78.21.  :D

Just paid for 4 tickets. You know how many people saw the movie with me? None. Don't ask. I'm not happy about it.

Walked out of the theater right after the "Atokirina" scene.
