Well i have just come back from seeing it again in 3D. The cinema was still packed not one seat empty which i couldn't believe i would of thought it would have died down abit but i was wrong.
I have spent £64.00 which equates to $101

Amazing, isn't it? There are 2 theaters withing equal distance from me. Both in equally busy areas. One has 3 screens for Avatar which are always packed. The other has 1 larger 3d screen and is always empty!!

I just hope that Alice and Dragons don't take it out of all my 3D screens!!

The funny thing is that I was SO hyped about Alice before I saw Avatar. Now I see it as the bringer of death! (still probably gonna see it day one. Does that make me a traitor?)

I'd say: replacement drugs.
Like bubble gum in drinking therapy?

(The local cinema moved Avatar from the big main hall into a smaller one. Now the big main is half filled with Percy Jackson-viewers and the smaller one packed to the limit...)

Hahahaha. that's win. Avatar is still selling out on the weekends at 2 of the regional theaters. Weekday runs have been about 75% full, but as the weekend approaches (about thursday on) the auditoriums getter fuller. Friday tends to sell out at the mid-evening shows (around 7-9pm). Mondays and tuesdays are the worst, with less than 50% capacity. Sadly, one theater has relegated Avatar to the auditorium at the very end of the side hall, one of the smaller auditoriums.

Tomorrow's double screening brings my total to 37 times!  ;D
See that shadow? It's the last one you're gonna see.

"How does it feel to betray your own race?" Sorry, couldn't help it! ;D
"What, did you just forget which team you where playing for?"

I don't think Alice, Dragons or Percy Jackson will have the long term pulling power of Avatar.
I could imagine Avatar being moved back into bigger screens again.
One employee admitted that it's still Avatar that's paying the bills at my nearest Multiplex.
Mine isn't the only face they've seen coming back to see it more than a few times.

Just realized it's the 17th today, Avatar has been showing for over two months now!!
