my dog listens to me only in the house... when he's out of yard, he does whatever he wants   :(  i need tsaheylu as well... ^^

Only one problem with that...if your dog takes off after a squirrel...you might just be dragged along with him... ;D
You are controlling him with that so he won't chase squirrels until you tell him to do so ^^

Thats also assuming he has no independant thought process while you are controlling him.

In the movie the ikran was crashing against the mountains while Jake tried to fly.

Solution: Blutetooth tsaheylu.

Yea, that means that the ikran has an independant thought process for survival that is not affected by tsaheylu. So why wouldn't a dog have a few too?

Well I think tsaheylu works both ways. So when Jake rides his Ikran the first time, they have to learn to work together. Imagine riding a bike and one half of your brain wants to turn left and the other half right... :o

Tsaheylu with my dog seeing the squirrel.. Hm. When he want's to chase, I would feel that and the other way around. Since (in this setting) we have to get his food anyway, I wound say let's chase  ;D

Maybe you should call your dog Ikran. You can make the bond with an Ikran... ;-)

That exactely is the way it works.

I remember the scene where the direhorses drink nektar from the plants. Watch! They use their queues to contakt the plants.

So I m sure all animals are using tsaheylu all the time.

Otherwise it were unrealistic that eywa could help in the great conflict.

Its a way to communicate but not a master-slave connection.

May be the stronger will or the greater brain can control the other, but in the pa´li scene jake has to feel the heartbeat, the breath and the strong legs.

So both indiviuals become a unit, seeing, hearing and thinking the same.

remember the scene with palulukan and neytiri. palulukan drops his head, looking and than take a look at neytiris face.

They choose them. I assume palulukan would not be controlled if he dont want to be.

And they all are eywa. There is no border to a higher godess, they are the same.

I think that was more of an explination of the use of tsaheylu though.

I really like your explanation. I also feel that the two who connect through tsaheylu are becoming one. With a direhorse that is less specific, as Neytiri said, but with an ikran it goes very deep. Maybe it is not so much a bigger brain, but the level of intelligence that each brain possesses. The way the Na'vi treat the direhorses is with respect, but the way they treat the ikran is with love.

I think my ikran would get really annoyed with me... Loop! fly a loop! Do it again!

Could that be an indicator of higher evolution on the Ikran's part?
