Ikran : Is it a bird?

I happened to be walking to work this even when I noticed and poster on the side of a local bus stop, advertising the new DVD/ Blue Ray release of Avatar. The image was the one of Neytiri riding Se'ze from left to fight across the poster. What struck me was the outline of the Se'ze head and neck portion was remarkably like a duck!. I actually stopped and look for a few seconds and concluded that if you were to draw around the outline you could then fill the remainder in as a Mallard duck!

Okay I am now off to a dark room for a few hours!!

Didn't you realise? They actually filmed the ikran by giving Mallard ducks growth hormones, then dressing them in a costume. They just claimed it was special effects to keep the animal rights groups quiet.

HAHAHA, thats a heck of a lot of growth hormone. How'd they do the coloration patterns then?
