It's not the most important thing in my life (college and good grades are far more important :P ), but I still think about it daily, mostly on the commute to and from campus. Makes good for stress relief at the end of a long day...

Next to school and my GF, Avatar is still very significant in my life. I just wrote my college application essay on why I love it lol. I might post it to the Forums soon :)

I'd say it is still important but not as much of an obsession as it used to be. I'm more obsessed with the language than the movie (maybe I just need to see the movie again, haha). And of course, studies, work and video games have taken over a bit.

It's still very top-of-mind for me, but then, I'm still writing my epic fanfic on it, which could have a lot to do with that :-* ;D

Same for me, although I would only replace "video games" by other hobbies and things. ;) I would say Avatar is still in my heart and will always somewhat remain there, and the overall feeling I have about it is still the same; but its direct role in my life has diminished. Now I'm mostly interested in the language and in this community. :D

Now on fanfic #3, I would expect it to be my last.
Pasha, an Avatar story, my most recent fanfic, Avatar related, now complete.

The Dragon Affair my last fanfic, non Avatar related.

For me I started to loose interest in avatar couple of months after watching the movie. Mostly cause of exams and all. But somehow in february '11 I started to regain interest in both the movie and begin my own na'vi learning project :D. One thing that I really want is a lucid dream in pandora xD but its never been realized :(

Human No More

Avatar is still the most important thing to me. I don't have anything else that I particularly care about other than Avatar, and by extension, the communities.

Something I wrote fairly recently:
Quote from: Human No MoreI just watched Avatar again tonight... so much feeling, I was crying most of the way through.
I haven't been able to watch it for the last month and a half or so, as there was always something I needed to do, it it was too late, or I was too tired or emotional, or the time just didn't feel right. I just got another chance to watch it again.
It was perfect.
Avatar is such a beautiful film, and it showed me how things could be, it gave me a completely new perspective on life. None of that has changes. It's as perfect as ever, as emotional as it was that first time I watched it, over a year ago. All that time ago, I was so different. I wasn't expecting any film to completely give me a perspective. I didn't have any real reason to do anything, I was just going through life without ever even realising the problem. Avatar is a single thing worth fighting for. It still is.
Every day, I think of Pandora, and I wish so much I was Na'vi... Every day I think of ToS, the one place on Earth I feel at home, around the people I care about. The place where people See, in the middle of all these skypeople. I was somehow born as the wrong person and I know that, whether or not Pandora is out there somewhere, it's where I belong, and I know that for so many people here, they are the same.
Never lose sight of that :)

Don't worry I've got more weapons of mass destruction to "persuade" you to do a fourth.
Only mostly AWOL.

Stranger Come Knocking

I don't think it has /ever/ been "first" importance to me (seeing as I am still in school) but I would put it up there on the list. :) I tend to not obsess over anything.

I wouldn't say that specifically Avatar have a big importance anymore, but this community certainly does, as the friendliest place I've seen on the internet!

Kamean

Of course remained. But I want to clarify, speaking "Avatar", I mean a set that includes:
1 Language;
2 Na'vi culture and philosophical views;
3 Movie.
Yes, the movie stands in third place. Na'vi culture and philosophy, because it's philosophy is completely identical to mine, I put in second place. And the language is first.
It so happened at the outset and don't will change it. :)

Where is Avatar and Na'vi on my list... frankly, it's not anywhere near the top.  Mostly due to what my life is, and what all is involved with it.  It's still there, and I might like it a lot more once the second or third movies come out.  But frankly, due to what I have going on, I can't have it near the to at all.

Hmm... maybe third on my list. Don't have a whole lot going on in my head.  :P I could probably write all my thoughts down on a piece of paper.

I want tell the same. Interweaving with soul would be the best answer. Without places. It became my way to spiritual harmony. As Karyu Pawl said: Language is our link with Na'vi and Pandora. But this does not mean that we should think about it constantly, ignoring everything else. Otherwise it would not harmony, but an obsession. :)

Yes, that's very wise indeed. :) And what you say, ma Kamean, really expresses the exact way that I feel towards the Na'vi and Avatar. Amazing, I like when people speak my feelings aloud and help me understanding myself! :D

Human No More

...not that there's anything wrong with it even if you do consider it one. Without Avatar I have very little that gives me a means of escapism.
