Is Neytiri the best animated catgirl in recent memory?

Well she is pratically Mocap animated and i think so. I always did had a fascination for catgirls since i was 4 thanks to Cheetara on Thundercats, Cleo on Heathcliff and M'ress on Star trek TAS 25 years ago and even a thing for ladies who dress as cats like Catwoman on Batman comics/60's show, Catra on She-Ra and Cheetah on Justice League.

I mean back in the 80s and 90s they got away with making feline chicks in cartoons sexy such as Cheetara, M'ress, Cleo, the Swat Kats girls, April O'Neil as a mutated cat-woman in that Ninja Turtles episode, Felicia from Darkstalkers, Pumraya on Thundercats, Aishia Clan Clan on Outlaw Star, The Puma Twins on Tank Police, Bagi in the anime cult fave "Bagi The Mighty Monster of Nature", Jenny on Bucky O'Hare, Kit Mambo on Animalympics, Kitten Kaboodle on Talespin and even Selina Kyle aka Catwoman in that Batman TAS episode where she got turned into an ACTUAL Cat-Woman (Remember that?). There are a few now like Cheetah on Justice League, Kitty on TuffPuppy and now Neytiri.

I think Neytiri reigns supreme.

Wow your quite a fangirl! And even though I have only heard of a few of the characters u r talking about, I agree with you on the fact that Neytiri reigns supreme. I just don't really think she should be grouped to getter with all those other people because she isn't really a cat. Yes she has moveable ears , a tail, cat nose, cat teeth, and moves gracefully, but she doesn't have fur, whiskers, and her feline aspects don't look like the ones cats have. Just saying

To be honest, a lot of the "early" ones you mention strike me as mostly sex objects or just there to be pretty and girly. Neytiri is the first that I'd say deserves action figures made out of her (maybe cat woman too, not sure, I'd have to watch that again). She's a warrior princess. Of course, they failed a bit with her on some points, but she's definitely adding progress on the female character front.

You know those games kids play where you pick a movie or cartoon or show, and everyone takes on a character from that show? I always hated it that if you're a girl you're stuck with the crappy girl characters that never have cool powers or do anything important. I'd like to be Neytiri though.

As for hotness.. Don't get me wrong, but there's something about cats... Not just with Neytiri, but look at Tsu'tey and Jake. Okay, maybe it's a Na'vi thing and not a cat thing
