You know how tsaheylu means 'The Bond'? and is refered to with Ikran and Direhorse? Can tsaheylu be used to describe two people that have a strong bond? Or is there another word? Because I feel like I have tsaheylu with my closest friends.

I think it can. IMO "tsaheylu" is used to describe people who have mated (because you...the whole joining the queues) but I think you can also say you have a "txura tsaheylu" (strong bond) with friends. My 2 cents.

I believe that tsaheylu only refers to the bond formed by touching meswin and only exists whilst the meswin are connected.

Translate the meaning not the words. Do you really think that the bond between friends is greater than that between two mated na'vi who have seen each other's minds? If tsaheylu could refer to a bond between friends (which seems awfully convenient and English) then such a bond would certainly not be described using "txur" when the bond between mates does not use "txur", if anything it would be described with  some lessening adjective or affix, possibly as a diminutive as tsaheytsyìp although I still think that such a translation would be the result of translating words and would, ultimately, be incorrect.

Irayo to the first answer. How should I translate the expression/ navi if the translation is incorrect? Although I think the first answer makes sense.....

Irayo, but I must admit that Kewnya Txamew'Itan is right. The bond between 2 mated Na'vi would be much stronger than the bond between friends. I mean, friends wouldn't go around joining their queues would they? As for translating the expression...I'm not sure. We need a word for "friendship" or at least "relationship" or something along those lines. I think that would make this easier.

Irayo you are quite right is there is a word in Navi for friendship (strong frienship) and if there is not how do we obtain one?

If there is a such word, I imagine it would probably be based of of "'eylan" and "hapxì".

There is a such word in Na'vi as "tì'eylan" that means "friendship". Dont use hapxi, if you would to say "part of a group of friends " its okay
