I haven't lost my interest in Avatar, but now that i got my job back as a train conductor, i run regionals from philly to as far out as florida or even to the midwest. My absence here is due to my last regional trip (down to florida and back). But i was able to get a portable dvd player and had my avatar dvd playing in the background just keep myself somewhat entertained while driving the train. But i couldn't watch the DVD mostly due to having to watch for the signals and stuff. But heck, with as many times as I've seen Avatar, i can listen to the soundtrack alone and know what's going on "on screen."

With this in mind, you can expect me to be gone here and there for periods of time. Hopefully the local sub will have open positions where i can run locals instead of regionals. But either way, i don't mind the regionals either. The rails are a good place to be, and even if i can't "watch" avatar, i can still listen to it at the least.
See that shadow? It's the last one you're gonna see.

You need stuff to spread around on your trips. If you're going to be traveling like that, take advantage and spread the word about Na'vi, environmentalism and humanitarianism.

Well, I have an Avatar Bumper Sticker on the front of my Locomotive. LoL. It's Jake flying on Toruk saying, "Get out of my way." It's something a friend of mine drew for me. Norfolk southern hasn't made me take it off yet. LoL. I've commissioned another custom image from my friend of Jake almost running over Quaritch's car at a railroad crossing. As an "operation lifesaver" gag mostly. Operation Lifesaver is the US railroad crossing safety campaign that all major railroad companies employ throughout their operations. It's an awareness program that lets people know about railroad crossing safety.
