Assuming all conditions are perfect, maybe 20-30 yards.

I haven't done archery in a looooong time. Avatar has inspired me to get back into it, I just need a bow.

Well go get yourself one, and go get some instruction with it, and then PRACTICE (a lot) with it.

Pshh that's a lot easier said than done. All the bows I've seen are expensive as hell plus I don't know where there's an archery range near Redlands. I'm sure I could Google one, but then there's the matter of finding time to get out there and someone to teach me.

 I forgot that you live in a populated area, Tee and I have lived out in the boonies for 18 years, ans after that length of time, we think that everyone with the mindset that is prevalent on a site like this lives on, or has close access to a lifestyle like ours, I'm sorry for thinking that way.

I have my bow from Halloween costume that I got for 40$-50$, I dont remember. It was from some people in Texas and it isnt really meant for shooting. Its a red oak wood so it isnt as flexible as the normal yew wood.



This is a pic of me posing with it on Halloween. The bow is a 6ft tall longbow and I made the arrow that is in my hand. I dont have any real arrows and dont have anywhere to practice. 

If sombeody wants to send me some old arrows that I can use I would pay for the shipping and I would be greatly appreciative.
