Perhaps a flame behind the stylised ikran or something like that would be nice.

I'm still pounding brain on how to make that visually appealing... The ikran consists of several parts, putting those inside a flame silhoutte might work. (Thought popped up while writing this. Irayo, Eywa!)

Puvomun, doe that blue design in your images mean something? I know it was on a poster for Avatar but besides that, I haven't seen it elsewhere.

As 'Ì'awn Menari said, it is a stylised ikran. And I like the colouring in it, as that livens up the image.
I'll probably spend a lot more time messing with this (it took me over a year to get the design of my first tattoo the way I wanted it), but that's okay. That way it becomes mine more and more.

that's right. you should make it more yours and not just two images together. it is, after all, going to be on your body forever (usually)
