I truely beleive that Norm does not get enough credit.  He's an amazing character (my favorite) and I haven't found any threads deticated to him.  In fact I haven't found many that talk about him at all...

So post here with anything and everything about the greatest geeky scientific avatar there is

To prove my point, I just image searched him and only found one pic of his avatar...

I've felt the same way! He is definitely one of my favorites, but is talked about very little! There are a few things from the script, that aren't in the movie that made me love him more (idk how to add that as a *spoiler* so I won't add it till i figure that out....)

One of my fav Norm moments is when Grace get's "hit" and Jake tells him to get the Trauma kit and you see him scoot by yelling "TRAUMA KIT!!" and then it turns out he was going to the wrong side of the ship anyways

In the script, it mentions how Norm & Trudy have a very serious romance, and I think it gives his character a lot more depth. I love that, but i don't think the casted actor/actress would have been a good pair, but that's only because we never really got to see them together I guess.

I would agree with you there.  it may be because I know Norm better from another show where he is very...different, but I just could not see him with a girl at all, especially not one as kick butt and hard core as Trudy.

And I would say HECK YES!  To the NFC!  As long as I can be presedent/treaserer

Oh that Norm, when I first read this post before that picture was there I'm thinking of Cheers. Yea I do like Norm alot was something about his character you just flet like there was more there than we got to see. Maybe Avatar 2 we will.

Um...no I would prefer the "Yay my avatar didn't really die and I just didn't want to be hooked up at the end of the first movie for some random but incredibly sane reason and I'll be in it again for the next two"

gasps  You know what I want  I wanna see Joel fire a bow!  It could be some humour scene where he picks one up and is just messing around and accedently fires and hits a tree or something  Yay!

Agreed! I mean, every time I've seen it, at that part i'm crying my eyes out, but when I finally saw it once and get myself to not cry, I was like d**n!! Haha that scene alone gave his character more, . . . character!!
