As I said, one quick question (I'm not sure if this question was already asked):

If Neytiri and Jake have a child, how many fingers would that child have?
Four... five... four and a half... four on one hand and five on the other?

As for the answer, I've no idea, who knows if it would even be possible.

Sort of. The genes would have to be the same, the alleles [/pedant] would be kind-of-random because of dominant/recessive stuff and the fact that a lot of features are controlled by multiple genes.

The main flaw is that number of fingers is likely to be caused by having a particular gene not the allele (version of it) that you have and so it would be quite likely that there'd be a genetic incompatibility, of course, I am sure Cameron will ignore this and in at least one of the sequels we will see little Jake's running around.

Chances are they can't have children unless Eywa intervenes or something like that. Avatars as we know are half human DNA and half whatever the Na'vi use (which is not DNA). So it's pretty much impossible for them to have children most likely. But seeing as we know nothing about how a Na'vi baby begins I guess it's all up in the air.

If they do end up having children my bet would be that it would only have Na'vi traits since the human ones would most likely be incompatible.

I think the most likely solution is that the avatars are chimeras, thereby avoiding any incompatibility issues. Their child would then have four fingers.
