Same to you, ma I'awn  :)

I get mad when people tell me I'm just in an Avatar phase, and I'll "get better soon". No. I found something I like and people who think like me. I'm not sick, I'm in love! ;D

Doesn' it ever piss you off when people say they don't care if an animal goes extinct, it wasn't "useful" anyways? If God put it on the green Earth, then it's "useful"!

@ I'awn,

I hate it when people join a FB page they don't agree with, just to argue with you. Even if I don't have the same beliefs, that doesn't mean I can be a nuisance!

Come closer and you shall learn, walk the path of the ancients and you shall know, you have the holy touch, the touch that brings with it hope and strength

@Lolet.  i had a girl in my Government class last year who couldn't have cared less about the enviornment (we were talk about off-shore drilling and what not)...it really irked me and another of my friends who sat next to me.

My mom thinks i'm in a "phase" for being a bohemian gothic wiccan...now that irks me.

i know really i was in a group supporting soliders and rivaling a group called SANH and that group put a whole bunch of vile, disgusting, and untrue things.  and some of their members came onto our group and started crap

Srane.  i've always told ppl that Ignorance may bring bliss but it could also bring destruction whether to that individual or to others...i was looked at like i was insane...I don't think Mother will do anything, it's our brothers and sisters out there she should be worried about ^_^.  our Mother gave free will as did our Father, but that doesn't mean the animals and plants have to agree to it XD

well, mother sends her messages in subtle ways, one thing I've always learned was always come prepared, like riding to work and getting drenched in a downpour in the last mile, or not wearing a hat in really sunny weather (I usually burn if i dont put on a hat).  Mother has a way of throwing unpredictable things at you indeed

It' our home, we hae to care for it.

On FB there is a group called, "College kids are heres, not soldiers." It didn't make sense to me. College kids don't sacrifice for others, but for themselves (not that there's anything wrong wih trying to get a better life).

The best way to get eople to think like you is to listen, and ask questions, I think.

My freinds said they didn't care when the Na'vi died because they were just blue aliens. They were mad at Jake for betraying the humans. Good doesn't have a species, ya know!

Wow, I'am justfull of wisdom and pithy quotes today! :D

Wisdom is the gift of age ma young tsmuke  :D.  sometimes the Goddess and God; or in your case just God  ;), blesses people with it earlier than others  ;D

you are at that age, things are going to be chaotic, but if you possess that kind of wisdom at that age, it is usually a gift, I think in my mind, take a step out of your shoes and see for yourself, you are at that age to explore, let your inner will guide you

It comes and goes, really. Some days I do good things and some days I do bad things.

'Ì'awn Menari

same with me  :); however you're only Na'viya, you can't necessarily expect to be perfect all the time ^_^ i've done my fair share of unwise things, but admitted to them and learned from them.

I'm going to borrow words from one of the greatest men in history to express my opinions in this post.

"You can chain me, you can torture me, you can even destroy this body, but you will never imprison my mind."
Let these be words to live by and to take comfort in, for you are who you truelly beleive yourself to be, and nothing can be done by others to dismantle that image or destroy who you choose to be, as long as you don't let them.

It' our home, we have to care for it.
"Prayer is not asking. It is a longing of the soul. It is daily admission of one's weakness. It is better in prayer to have a heart without words than words without a heart."
Though I myself practice no religion, these words ring with the power truth in me; and with a heart so committed in a prayer, especially one for the benefit of earth itself, there would be no power strong enough to keep those who hold that prayer to their hearts from standing together to bring about the change they see necessary. Even if you stand alone, "Nearly everything you do is of no importance, but it is important that you do it". Doing nothing leads to nothing, so to get the result you want, you must stand up and take the chance that something will go wrong if you ever want there to be a chance that something might go right.

Finally, you are most correct in that it is our home, and thus our responsibilty to care for its needs. Humanity can no longer turn a blind eye to the fact that if it isn't happening in their own little part of the world, then it neither affects nor has any importance to them. This planet is the only thing we have; there is no where else that we can conceivably go. Without initiative to right our wrongs, to clean up the messes that nobody wants to take responsibility for, we shall find that armageddon was not brought by a meteor or the end of time, but by our own negligence and selfishness, having lost all there is to value in this world.

My pet peeve, is obsessive dedication to pet peeves.

Honestly it is your issue not mine, to let me know about your peeve is one thing, to bug me with it repeatedly is annoying sometimes, to expect me to cater to it if I am disinclined for my own reasons is down right pretentious and rude.
