And yeah, probably Peyral loves teylu.  It would make a nice, crunchy-on-the-outside, tender-on-the-inside main course when the hunting hadn't been good.

I remember that i thought it sounded quite crunchy when the Na'vi ate Teylu in the movie  ! And yes, ma Amaya, Teylu probably taste like shrimp  .

Peyral probably likes Teylu. She needs protein for her strong muscles when she's about to hunt  . Although she probably prefers Yerik, especially when she's caught it herself  !

So, we've discussed possible candidates for the one that Neytiri refers to as ``Peyral´´:

As i see it, we have two possible candidates:

She could be Peyral: She looks very strong and brave  . Still, i have my doubts.

IMO she is the one that seems most Peyral-like, but i think we have almost entirely ruled out the possiblility that she could be Peyral.

What do you think  ?

Neytiri says: Peyral is a good hunter. And in scene with Seze: If you want became taronyu, you must choose your own Ikran. In my opinion Peyral have longer been a hunter, that her art could well appreciate. Therefore, I wote for first huntress. But the second also pretty.

Keep the first candidate in mind and rewatch the scene at the tree of voices, somehow that just seems to fit so much better with the first candidate. To me at least.

Well, i'm probably quite biased on our second candidate due to the fact that she has a mohawk  . It just seems so huntress-like  . Makes her look badass  !

Sadly for me, the ``facts´´ that we have almost completely rules out the possibility for her to be Peyral  .

I agree that "Peyral candidate #2" is much prettier than "Peyral candidate #1".  Maybe this is only because we see Pc1 mostly in long shots at night and frowning, whereas Pc2 gets close-ups smiling at Iknimaya. Pc1 looks a bit like the Mona Lisa to me whereas Pc2 reminds me a little bit of Natalie Portman.  I guess it's a matter of preference.  And while I'm not generally in favor of mohawks on women, Pc2 totally rocks the hairstyle!

I think given the time frame, Peyral is likely to be Pc1, as previously discussed.  However Pc2 is a much more important character in the film.  And she really has "hunter" attitude radiating from every cell in her body, imho.  Maybe Pc2 developed a reputation for being an excellent hunter during her training and only needed an ikran to finallize her status as "a good hunter."

It's something to think about at least...

Personally I find #1 to be much prettier, but then, she has a "grow-up, curvy" body which attracts me much more than the stick-thin, almost boob-less young girl.  Also, the fact that #1 is riding with Tsu'tey's party suggests that she's probably a high-ranking hunter, one of his, for lack of a better word, lieutenants, hmm?

I really don't understand how you connect her appearence to The Mona Lisa  . But after looking at Pc2 again, i'm, too, starting to think she reminds me slightly of Natalie Portman  !

Well, i never said i thought she looked prettier... but i agree with you  . Although...

On that point, i sort of agree with Amaya. However: I think Pc2 seems a lot more warm and caring than Pc1 (I know, it's more charm than looks, but still  .), more charismatic.

To summerize:

Pc1

- Seems quite harsh.

+ More beautiful, curvy body.
+ Radiates strength and bravery.

Pc2

- Smaller, more curveless body.

+ She, too, radiates strength and bravery.
+ Seems more warm and caring.
+ More kind and beautiful face.
+ Mohawk!
