Well, that might be, but dying is a little bit of a downside.  :P

So small bit, that you will not notice when it happens. :P

Well judging by that little clip of neytiri laying an atokirina on a na'vi grave while singing, I would say they take death ppretty seriously

Well, it's putting a seed where it will have natural fertilizer as it grows.  Sorta the way the Native Americans showed the Pilgrims how to plant corn...or so they say.

Does a new tree of voices grow on the na'vi? Since the atokirina r seeds

It would be a logical assumption, although I believe the body they showed in the movie was in a pit at the base of an already living tree.  It wouldn't seem the best choice to have a new tree grow in such close proximity to the old one.  One would tend to draw the nutrients needed by the other one.

Very good point, but I was thinking that maybe, just maybe, the na'vi was buried in a gap of the roots of kelutral do that that na'vi would help fuel the tree that would support the next generation

Maybe also Vitrautral or Utral Aymokriyä?

Trees don't live for ever, perhaps the old tree was dying?
Pasha, an Avatar story, my most recent fanfic, Avatar related, now complete.

The Dragon Affair my last fanfic, non Avatar related.

Yes. But I'm not sure about Vitrautral or Utral Aymokriyä.

N one of the deleted scenes, grace pleaded with the RDA and said that te na'vi had lived in kelutral since human kind first walked, or something along those lines, so those trees obviously have very long lifespans
