how is the tidal wave on Pandora, compared to Earth?

I see very big waves on this picture

'Itan Atxur

The wave in that screen is just a normal wave, but I'm sure they have their share of natural disasters.

Like trees falling on them.  :P

'Oma Tirea

...or other natural disasters from beneath the ground, which don't appear to cause too much harm because they live more naturally than ayoe :P

I am not asking about natural disasters, how is the tide being affected on Pandora, compared on Earth when the moon controls it?
Is it Polyphemus, the other moons and Alpha Centauri A who controls it?

'Itan Atxur

I'll bet the tide there is pretty screwed up what with all the major bodies around it.

Agreed, Polyphemus must cause hue tides.

It is very huge cliffs on Pandora, even on the coast, but I think the Ikran people of the Eastern Sea would worry about it

"Worry" is probably too strong a word.  They would certainly be aware of whatever insane tides existed and probably have some way of charting and predicting the tidal action and tidal surge.  Anyone who lives on the water (which I have all my life) becomes intimately familiar with the interaction of the sea and the land, and with the shifting and changing rhythms of the tide.

It will be much worse for us If the global warming increases, It will be much more water, and such as you who live near water, must move away, I see here where I live, when it is full tide, the water is almost on the road, just a half meter more, then the water reaches the road

Polyphemus is much heavier than the Moon, so the tides on the Pandora must be several times higher than on Earth. But after adjusting for Na'vi growth, they will seem less. For example, the tide is higher in 7 times, but it seems that in 4.

One thing to note is that according to the ASG, there are no really large oceans on Pandora, but rather a scattering of smaller 'seas'. Larger tidal changes tend to form up across larger bodies of water, so that could balance out the increased gravitational pull of Polyphemus to prevent excessive tidal effects.

I forget about it. Then the tides higher by 2-3 times.

Pandora may have huge littoral zones with specialized wildlife.
