Every time I visit this topic I say... Gosh! I saw it so long ago! But not have time to watch it again... But I'm definitely going to. :) I have to convince my GF to join this forum. :D

I understand thee. The last last time I saw it was during the fall. My mother bought the extended edition of Avatar for Christmas, but I never watched it. I'm a big skxawng.
I, Kameyu a Kepekmì, promise to watch Avatar at least once in 2013.

As a matter of fact, my wife Ateyo and I watched the Director's Extended Cut of the Collector's Edition Blu-Ray on our Home Theater System, while snuggled together on our bed last night.

Blue Elf

Last Thursday on Euroavatar in Berlin. It was very special, most complete version you can't see in the cinema. Created by 'eveng te atan, contains everything what was created for Avatar (deleted scenes, even those unfinished). More than 4 hours. Fantastic! Many scenes from the movie now give even better sense.

That is why Ateyo and I love our Collector's Edition Boxed Sets. NOW that we have gotten and seen the Blu-ray Version, where the ENTIRE long Director's cut fits on a single disk, I can't wait to see what EXTRA GOODIES over what was included in the C.E. DVD sets, is on the third disk.

Last time I watched Avatar was last month, in 3D on a big screen at the LSC theater in Jersey City, NJ (after revisiting the Avatar exhibit there), together with 2 fellow Avatar fans.  :D

I have seen it again in cinema together with 3 other blueskins 2 weeks ago.

LOL, I wasn't able to stand it any longer: right before the destruction-of-Hometree scene, I had to mark our clan's territory and went out. After that scene I came back, while Jake was walking through the rain of ash and I asked whispering: "Did I miss something important?" which was a good laugh.

I am still not d'accord with the theatrical release that is screened in the theatres (the mid-long version is screened)- to be honest that edition annoys me more and more, because some important scenes are left out and I feel more and more that something is missing.

Interestingly, but unsurprising - I still find details I haven't seen before.

Just saw Avatar (watched my CE Blu-ray at home) about a couple weeks ago, after I finally got to see the Cirque TORUK show.  :D
It was my 24th (overall) viewing of the film, and I plan on watching it again this New Year's Eve (for my annual "ritual" to mark the anniversary of my first ever viewing of Avatar back in 2009).  :)

Almost exactly a year ago...which is too long ago. I have had precious little time to watch any movies at home this last year.
