hehehehe so this morning I found a rather unusual beer can, which reminded me of a fact which has been sitting at the back of my brain since I first watched Avatar but didn't quite surface.  I knew the name "Hell's Gate" sounded familiar, but I couldn't quite place it until...

I remembered the trip I went on with my dad when I was 12, heading up the Gold Rush Trail...  and this place: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hell%27s_Gate,_British_Columbia

So yes, in fact I HAVE BEEN TO HELL'S GATE! ;D  Sadly, though, not the one everyone immidiately thinks of but still an incredible sight, and a place of great beauty and the fierceness of nature. 8)

And what, you ask, did the beer can have to do with all this?  It was one of these http://hellsgatebrewing.com/ .  I don't even drink beer, but for that, you never know, I might just have to try! :-* ;)

 ;D That's so txantsan. It's like when I wanted to go to Pandora (a store), but we had to go to the doctor's office.

Stupid routine checkups.  ::)

Wasn't the term "Hell's Gate" used for the main US-base in Vietnam?

Yeah, I've seen those shops called Pandora, there's one in the shopping centre here, I think (could be elsewhere though, I can't quite remember as I try to avoid that place :P )
