Ukrainian millitary attacked once again, claiming 19 Ukrainian soldiers. The whole thing started when separatists targeted and fired rockets at a Ukrainian military camp in eastern Ukraine before dawn on Friday. The attack happened around 4:30 a.m. near the town of Zelenopolsk, in eastern Ukraine's restive Luhansk region, military spokesman Yuriy Stets said.
At least 55 other people were injured, according to the nation's counterterrorism office.
The office of President Petro Poroshenko, whose country has battled separatists in the east for months, accused attackers of using Russian-made Grad rockets against Ukrainian armed forces.
"Militants will pay hundreds of their lives for each life of our servicemen," Poroshenko said. "Not a single terrorist will avoid responsibility; each of them will be punished."
The European Union is sanctioning 11 more people over the Ukraine crisis, the European Council said Friday, bringing the total number subject to EU visa bans and asset freezes because of the crisis to 72.
The new names will be announced Saturday morning, the council said.
Those already targeted include people in Ukraine and Russia, including Vyacheslav Ponomaryov, the self-declared mayor of Slovyansk, a rebel stronghold in the Donetsk region, and Vladimir Shamanov, commander of Russian airborne troops.

Ukraine claims victory of 2 cities in Donetsk region!!!
We have got some news from Slovyansk, and it seems like Ukraine will likely stabilize the unrest in the Donetsk region. The 2 cities that has been taken control of is Slovyansk and Krematorsk. Slovyansk has been under control of the separatists for a very long time now, but now it is under control of the Ukrainian military. This is glad news.
http://edition.cnn.com/2014/07/05/world/meast/ukraine-crisis/

The Ukrainian flag was raised Saturday over Slovyansk and Kramatorsk, a pair of flashpoint cities that have been strongholds of groups advocating independence from the Kiev-based national government for months.
President Petro Poroshenko's officed announced Saturday that separatists had left Slovyansk.
Clearing this key city was very difficult, since militants hid inside residential buildings and other facilities where civilians are, according to Andriy Lysenko, a spokesman for Ukraine's National Defense and Security Council.

I would like to congratulate the Ukrainian military for this victory to claim back Slovyansk and Krematorsk in the Donetsk region in Ukraine, and i would like to congratulate Mr. President, Petro Poroshenko to start this operation :)

Edit: I would not call them "terrorists" because that is not "really" the definiton for "terrorist". They are just "rebells".

They are terrorists because they make terrorism acts. For example:

Also they take hostages and administrative buildings. They are terrorists.

We don't know why or who or nothing, but there is a fear that either the separatists or the Russians shot down a Malaysian Airlines passenger plane with over 295 passengers, all feared to have died in the crash. The airplane crashed down near the border with Russia. the Ukrainian Interior Ministry accuses the separatists to be behind this.

http://edition.cnn.com/2014/07/17/world/europe/ukraine-malaysia-airlines-crash/index.html?hpt=hp_t1

A Malaysia Airlines flight from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur has crashed in eastern Ukraine, Russian news agency Interfax reported Thursday.
Malaysia Airlines confirmed that it lost contact with MH17, and the flight's last known position was over Ukrainian airspace, the airline said on Twitter.
The jet is a Boeing 777, according to Interfax.
The plane reportedly went down near the border between Russia and Ukraine.

The route taken by the Malaysian flight is a very common one between Kuala Lumpur and the Netherlands, said CNN aviation safety consultant Mary Schiavo. She noted that the plane was flying over a troubled area and said close communication with air traffic controllers would be a key necessity.
In a hostile or disputed areas, "any alteration from your course and you can have a problem," she said.
Tensions have been high between Ukraine and Russia since street protests forced former pro-Moscow President Viktor Yanukovych from power in February. Russia subsequently annexed Ukraine's southeastern Crimea region and a pro-Russia separatist rebellion has been raging in Ukraine's eastern Luhansk and Donetsk regions..
Ukrainian forces have been struggling to quell the separatist unrest. Ukraine's government has accused Russia of allowing weapons and military equipment, including tanks, to cross the border illegally into the hands of pro-Russia separatists.
The Pentagon said Wednesday that Russia now had 12,000 troops on the border with Ukraine, as well as some heavy weapons. The troop numbers had fallen to about 1,000 previously from a high of an estimated 40,000 forces earlier this year.
On Thursday, CNN reported that as Ukrainian officials reportedly accused a Russian fighter of shooting down a Ukrainian jet Wednesday as that aircraft flew in Ukrainian airspace.
Tensions are high over that incident, separate from the breaking news Thursday of the Malaysian flight.
On top of that, Thursday's report of a downed Malaysian flight marks the second time this year that Malaysian Airlines has faced an incident involving a plane.
On March 8, Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 disappeared. That plane had 239 people on board.
Searchers have found no trace of 370 or its passengers despite extensive search efforts.
Flight 370 likely flew into the southern Indian Ocean on autopilot with an unresponsive crew, Australian authorities said last month.

Today leader of terrorists Igor "Strelkov" Girkin wrote in VK that they shot down the plane An-26 of Ukrainian air forces, but no one of Ukrainian An-26 was not shot down today. So what have they shot down? Maybe that is Boeing 777? ???

I think you might be right. The separatists are not telling the truth. They actually shot down the passenger plane, instead of a Ukrainian military aircraft.

I don't know, what's the visible difference between a Boeing 777 and an Antonov 26 is, but that shot down was rather stupid. I see it in the news, 239 passengers died :(

When it flies in an altitude of 10 km, you couldn't see any difference :)

I read, that this plane was apparently hit by a rocket type "Buk".

Image officially published from the crash site. Looks like a horrible tragedy. The airplane was supposed to get another trajectory, instead of passing over this area. This is the usually flight direction of passenger planes to pass over Ukrainian airspace and Russian airspace. Have seen a video where debris from the aircraft are falling down. That's a sign that the airplane must have exploded, not lost control.

Not sure if I understood the title correct, bu this video should be the crash

Not necessarily.
Girkin many times boasted that he had bought weapons from the Ukrainian army officers. Furthermore, separatists do not once seized air defence systems from Ukrainian army. Separatists did it for the first time when they had just captured Sloviansk.

Generally, I was very interested in the question of why a weapon that gets Girkin always first detected somewhere in Lugansk, but nobody has ever seen as the weapons was transported across the border between Ukraine and Russia. Where are the spy satellites, which should detect the fact of the transfer of weapons to the separatists across the border?

P.S. And I was very interested in the question of why Ukrainian government has canceled an order that forbade flights of civil aircraft over the territory of the anti-terrorist operation?
