No. In Na'vi, we have these syllables possible (C is consonant, V is vocal): V, VC, CV, CVC, CCV, CCVC + plus some rules what C can be at starting and ending positions (see Horen).
's is example of CC syllable - which is not allowed. Your example is syllabled as sa'.sem (CVC.CVC)

AA shi-tzu? Those are interesting dogs. I have a friend who has three of them, and I get to care for once in a while. She is a big wolfdog fian, and these are the 'wolfiest' of her wolfdogs.
