Cheat at Jumanji. You'll pop a monkey tail within the hour. Then you'll have to get electrolysis to get rid of the hair and paint it blue.

Quote from: Txur Nìftxavang on June 05, 2010, 09:15:14 PMWell, after being subjected to such an awesome movie, and awesome forum... Idk what it is, but I want a tail really bad! I personally think that it would be awesome! I just wanted to know if others feel the same, or differently about it.    If only we could have a tail...

Would I rather have a tail (no, not unless the Na'vi were real and I was one of them)? Since the Na'vi are not real and I am (at least last time I looked) human I think not.

Actually we do anyway or at least the remains of one ... a leftover from our animal ancestors (and, indeed, evidence that we are mere animals with [in some cases] better brains).

ROFL at that little aside in the final sentence there. Why do the words "youtube comments" come inexplicably to my mind when I read that?

Youtube comments are renowned for being possibly the largest density of complete and utter idiots on the internet. Just read a few and you'll see what I mean :P

Youtube comments are like a convention of all racist high-school bullies who skipped English class, never did grammar homework, and failed at anger management classes and life in general. It's like reading Texts From Last Night (on WORST NIGHTS setting), F My Life, 4Chan and every website where angry people go to vent at one time, in one place.

And some are saying we have no life, when they obviously searches for music or something they dislike and flames. Yeah, that's the ideal life. ::)

First: I guess a tail would be heavy. Would be uncomfortable having a thing movinh in my back. And finally, people would trample it (not sure if i wrote it well)

My cats like their tails, sometimes they play with it. And they can bend it by 90 degrees, looks like a periscope from a submarine ^^

hrh  ;D  i don't think it would be heavy, we would be used to it... and about the trampling, it's true... but you could also make someone to trip over it... that would be cool   ::)

Having a tale like Na'vi people have would mean also a few more things:
* we'd need to have a better collumn and vertebra, as the tail is connected to it (and i wouldn't like to feel my bones moving)
* How would we go to the toilet?  :-X

HRH

in theory the tail would in essence be a few foot in length, and it would be under your control

it seems inclined that it would suit to wrap it around your waist or abdomen
