Man, I hate driving. Got my driver's license at 18 (earliest possible in Sweden), and haven't touched a steering wheel since.

I'm going to start learning to drive next week... And I'm going to touch steering wheel a lot. :D I need quick, independent (not depend on timetables and stops) mean of transport a lot... So after I'll got my license (hopefully I won't fail. :D ) I'm going to threaten the whole Europe by my driving skills. ;D ;D ;D ;D

I'll be able to get my liscenece in January, when I turn 16. My Dad wants me to learn in a manual, coz then you can drive both. I'm a bit nervous about learning to drive. This wont end well  ;D

[gets up and takes a blast helmet] I suggest you try it again, Syulang. This time, let go your conscious self and act on instinct. [puts the helmet on Syulang, which covers her eyes]

Trust yourself, ma paduan.  Millions of people all over the world drive manual; you are as capable as they are.  (And what Saudi woman wouldn't love to be in your position in that car?  :D )

Try again? I said in 3 a bit months time becuase I'm 15, so I'm not old enough yet. I turn 16 in 3 and a bit months time, which is January.  ;D

All of Europe should be happy I don't enjoy driving. I failed my first exam because I ran a red light. I then tried again two days later, got the same examiner, and passed! It's crazy, I tell you. It's not like my driving skills magically improved over the course of 48 hours.
We learn from our mistakes only if we are made aware of them.
If I make a mistake, please bring it to my attention for karma.

But it's better, when you have the license... You never know, when you'll need it. :D

Manual FTW :)

Don't worry about failing a test... it took me 3 tries. The first was bad, but I was just unlucky on the second :/

Manual or automatic transmission?

Emtokay

I'm learning to drive an 16 speed semi-automatic vehicle. You'll find this type of transmission on heavy trucks and prime movers, tankers, road trains etc. It's very hard to learn to drive since you've got your low range gears (1,2,3,4,5,6) then your high range (7,8,9,10,11,12) then there's your reverse then creeper gear. All gears also have a standard and overdrive mode which is changed by a switch on the lever just like the one getting you from high range and low range. This manual system also allows you to change gears without the clutch.
