The RTC, Quebec City's transportation service, is testing a 2-floor bus, like the buses one can find in London, UK. Even this type of buses are made in Great Britain!

It will be added to the service and will be useful when a plenty of people will need to take the bus.

This bus will be more confortable and safer. That is only winds of 210 kilometers per hour will reverse that bus! :o

We'll see more in the next years...

Interesting.  The drivers will have to think carefully if their route goes within the old city walls (aka low bridges).
Plus crossing the Saint Lawrence River in high winds may be interesting with unplanned and unannounced lane changes..   :o

Hum...
The Lévis (at the other side of the river) transportation service come in Quebec city, but I'm not sure that our transportation service go to Lévis.

About the tests, I forgot to say that the height of the bus makes impossible to pass under 3 viaducts.

That's very interesting! I'd never heard of those buses being made in Québec before. :)
