United Nations says that on October 31 has the population on Earth reached 7 billion, and thats on 11-12 years

in 2050 we are expected to be between 8.0 to 10.5 billion(maybe 9 billion) people on Earth

that's insane as what I think, or it's crazy stuffs, this is big stuffs, one of the biggest stuffs in the human history

http://www.thehindu.com/sci-tech/science/article2412108.ece

I think about that time, in 2050, maybe someone has leaved Earth and moved to Mars. It is expected that we are going to terraform Mars, and make it suitable for life.

Perhaps Eywa will take care of this. Wars, illnesses and climate change are ways to pare the population.  It's sad we have to depend on this rather than our intelligence.  But who would voluntarily decide to remain childless?  Some of course, but very few.

climate change will control some of the population, like famines for example in Africa's horn, or tornadoes, hurricanes, earthquakes(and tsunamis), volcano eruptions

Earth controls that, or actually humans(tawtute) is part of changing the climate

here is some news about animals are fleeing longer north because of global warming. They are fleeing from equator

over 2000 species are moving north 4.5 meter per day(1.6 kilometer per year on average)

it is translated from norwegian to english(you will understand the translation):

I am surprised that I don't see the UK or France in this list.

I'm surprise the country just above us on the list is 3.4 times greater in population.

A lot of people who really enjoy their carefree lifestyle choose to not have children. But most would rather have their own little babies. And there's nothing wrong with either choice.

Try tallying up the numbers from all the Western European countries, and be surprised.

I would never advocate making laws to govern this, and find the concept of eugenics especially distasteful to say the least.  What becomes interesting in today's world is how some of the more developed countries are using current biotechnology to serve their belief systems in terms of gender and other characteristics.

Most people who complain about eugenics don't know what it actually is, and have just heard the name.

Probably true.  I looked it up before I posted about it.

For most older people, it will forever be synonymous with industrial scale genocide.

Sorta reminds me of Soylent Green.  If you are trying to decide the parameters of eugenics, upon what authority can you legitimately base your choices?  There is no absolute definition for the 'eu' in eugenics.  Anomalies are Nature's way of protecting us against too much homogeneity.  Look at what has happened to the genetic stock of our crop plants: when a disease strikes, it can wipe out everything with a common genetic background and thousands of people may die of starvation.  It happened with the Potato Blight in Ireland in the mid-1800s.

Uh....time for me to back slowly away from the soapbox.  Sorry for the rant, y'all.  You will now be returned to your regular stations.... :D

I wonder when there will be 8?

they say that from 2011 to 2050 will the population increase 2.3 billions

so in 2050 will we be around 9.3 billions

so maybe by the end of the century, we will be over 10 billion, maybe 11 billion, then we are too overpopulated, we can't be so much people on Earth, then everybody need to move other places where it doesn't live people, but that will just bring chaos, If you are going to cut down more forest, and that will increase the intensity in global warming, and then I think it will be an apocalypse on Earth. Can't someone move up to the Moon, or Mars? the only solution is to find an another place to colonize, like Mars, it's very small, almost the same size as Mercury, or we can move to Venus
Venus is slightly smaller than Earth. the diameter of Venus is around 600 km smaller than Earth's diameter

Venus diameter:         12,103.6 km
Earth's diameter:        12,756.2 km
Mars diameter:           6,792.4 km
Moon's diameter:        3,474.2 km
Mercury's diameter:     4,879.4 km

If you ever Google "Denver Airport Conspiracy", it appears that an unprovable group supposedly has the answer to the population crisis. Though I'd rather it not happen, we can't stop what isn't seen or there.
