Here, you can post news about the refugee crisis and share your thoughts if you feel for it.

Here in Norway, the gouvernment has decided to not allow more refugees to come in, in association with Swedish, Danish and Russian gouvernment. Several borders has got increased security, also includes the ferries and cruiseships. The stop for refugees to come in Norway are on a 10 day trial, so after 10 days the gouvernment will make a new decision to continue with it. This only applies for those who wants to seek asylum in Norway. Everybody who is seeking asylum now to Norway will be denied and have to travel to another country. You will not be allowed to cross the border into Norway. With the border controls, in a association with the police and the national defence, to travel to and from Norway you will need to have a valid ID(Passport, debit card, driver's licence), because you will be stopped.

Thursday night the Norwegian government decided to step up border controls. It will initially last for ten days.
The purpose is to make it easier to stop people who are not entitled to protection.
The measures come after the Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Löfven said that the country no longer can deal with the refugee situation and will implement measures to reduce the influx of refugees.

1. What exactly is happening tomorrow morning (Thursday)?
- It will be introduced increased border control which is limited to ferry traffic. ID Control is intensified in cross-border areas and is sampling based. There can be random checks on trains, cars, buses and bicycles, for that matter, said Deputy Director of Police Directorate Knut Smedsrud at a press conference Wednesday.
There are basically two things that happen from Thursday morning: Anyone who will be traveling by ferry to Norway from Sweden, Denmark or Germany will have to show valid identification papers at the departure from the port they travel from.
The second thing that happens is that "the introduction of a further intensification of the so-called territorialkontrollen in cross-border areas," as it says in the press release from the Ministry of Justice.
This does not mean that the borders are closed, but that patrols in areas around the border with Sweden, will be reinforced and spot checks of travelers will increase.
- People who live in cross-border areas in Oslo and Hedmark must be prepared to show a valid ID, enter the police in a statement.

2. What does it mean for Kiel ferry and Danish boats?
This means that travelers going to Norway from these ports must show valid identification. But Smedsrud said at Wednesday's press conference that the police will be flexible and show discretion.
- Nordic citizens to take the ferry to Norway without ID papers, the police will exercise flexibility. It is not Norwegian or Nordic citizens who will be left standing on the dock.

3. What does it mean for travelers from Sweden?
- On Svinesund it will be just as it has been. But we extend patrols and making several samples, it can lead to longer waiting times at border crossings in some cases, said Smedsrud.
- You can count on having to having to identify themselves.
Test samples are applicable to all modes of travel, including trains and buses.

4. There is increased control at Svinesund. What about the other entrances from Sweden?
There will be increased territorial control in cross-border areas. It is not the same as increased control concrete at Svinesund.
Police will patrol the areas near the border throughout Hedmark and Østfold, it means that all border crossings in theory be covered by the increased patrols.

5. What happens to those who are stopped?
- This measure is initiated to prevent entry of persons without legal access to Norway, said at Wednesday's press conference Smedsrud.
He added that those seeking asylum are still entitled to this.
- It is a signal to asylum seekers. Seeking asylum is lawful access to Norway, but it may be that they already have a residence in a country of protection. Then they must consider whether it is appropriate to seek asylum in Norway, he said.
Asked if this is more about a signaling effect than a practical effect, he replies:
- Yes, you might say. Asylum seekers will have their applications processed here too.
Others, who do not have valid identification and are not seeking asylum, you risk being left standing on the dock.

6. What happens at Storskog(Norway-Russia border)?
Just before the Police Directorate held a press conference about the changes tomorrow, that news came about the new instructions to Storskog.
Ministry of Justice has issued instructions to UDI and UNE that asylum seekers who come to Norway after having been resident in Russia, should be rejected without its merits.
In a statement posted on the ministry's website, makes justice and readiness Minister Anders Anundsen (FRP) it is clear that the goal is a quick return.
- These are asylum seekers that we believe are not in danger of being persecuted in Russia, and it is an abuse of the asylum system when those choosing to travel from Russia to Norway to seek asylum, says Anundsen.

7. What do the Swedes?
The Norwegian intensification of border controls and extended territorial control can be seen in the light of Sweden's austerity measures.

Tuesday warned Prime Minister Stefan Löfven that Sweden as soon as possible to introduce an identity check on all trains and buses bound for Sweden. This measure has the highest priority and should be implemented before the other tightening in Swedish immigration policy.
But when these ID checks can get started, and how the task should be solved purely practical, it is currently nobody knows.
The purpose of ID verification on trains and buses are likely to stop ID solve people before they reach as far as the Swedish border and thus can seek asylum in Sweden.
Sweden has already managed to carry ID control on ferries from Germany and Sweden, and it has had the desired effect: People without passports're not getting on board the German side.
- This we achieved that by a simple rule change that said ID should be checked when the ferry companies prepare their passenger lists. Now we are faced with something that is more complex, confirms the infrastructure minister Anna Johansson's publicist Elin Tibell.

Well, about point 1,
QuoteIf you look at the people who protest, most of them are normal citizens
Sure there are some "worried" people are participating, but the "core" of them are mostly nationalists like PEGIDA, very conservative people or nazi sympathisants...

As for the US states, as almost always, the US politicans tends to use actionism instead keeping calm and cool... ::) Also that's kind of ridiculous for me, because Obama planned to admit 10000 refugees only, and just as relation, 4000 up to 9000 refugees crossing the German border per day.

Most people and also many members of the etablished parties in Germany aren't agree with Angela Merkel's refugee politics. The basic problem here is, that we are letting thousands of refugees in our country, BUT without any sufficient preparation and no communicated maximum limit. The immigration office is overloaded, and we have not enough accommodations for so many people.
To keep it short, the people are not amused due to the chaotic management of this crisis, and the EU used to fail at keeping their borders closed. This is also why even those nationalistic/ultra-conservative/nazi groups or parties used to be popular.

---

To the other points, especially about that shot Su-24, I believe, that's offtopic here and should be its own topic, because that has not much to do with refugees rather actions in context of the fight against the IS/ISIS/Daesh.

Some refugees that has came to Norway from Russia has been sent back to Russia and their seek of asylum has been denied. The system seems to be effective. It happened really fast. 40 people were sent back to Russia over the Norway-Russia border up in Storskog.
http://www.an.no/nyheter/fauske/politiet-hentet-40-asylsokere-16-av-dem-fra-sulis/s/5-4-220907

On Saturday morning, 16 people got picked up by the National Police Immigration Service (PU) in Sulitjelma.
Monday afternoon confirming PU that people had applied for asylum after arriving at Storskog.
- They have received a final rejection of their applications, writes PU in a press release.

40 people to Russia
Overall 40 people were returned over Storskog during the weekend. 16 of these were therefore asylum seekers who were resident in Sulitjelma Fauske Municipality. These were transported to Bodø and flown to Kirkenes.
- Crews from several police participated in the operation, and the people that were returned were transported to Kirkenes from Haugesund, Bodø and Stavanger, according to PU.
- Since the new instructions about rapid processing of asylum seekers coming over Storskog came into force on November 25, is close to 90 people returned because they have been rejected by the UDI(Norwegian Immigration Directorate) or because they are expelled, they add.
Avisa Nordland was contacted already Saturday during the ongoing operation at the site. Dler tipsere notified called that a high number of police officers went into mottalet and brought more residents.
Sunday also confirmed pastor Arnt Håkon Nordkil this.
He reported that there were about 16 people, and that 13 of them have already found themselves in Russia Sunday afternoon. Pastor has become familiar with many of the asylum seekers in Sulitjelma.
- Several of those who were left were quite upset with the way it was done. I understand that it might be frightening when someone is being recovered in such action, saying Nordkil.

Confirmed two days later
He has also been in contact with one of them that was retrieved.
- What I know is that 13 of them were taken now in Russia. The family of three is in Kirkenes and awaiting processing of their case, says Nordkil adding:
- It's my friends who are picked up by the police, the people I have had contact with in recent months.
First two days later confirms PU that they transportete asylum seekers to Russia this weekend.

This is, more or less, releted to 'refugee crisis' but directly.
So, here is a video that show, what can happen when people are too much 'politically correct' in order to not offend any refugees.
