I love astronomy, and I know few astronomers, but one is yet alive... or not. I was searching on Twitter Sir Patrick Moore's account, when I learned a bad news.

Today, on December 9th, 2012, the British astronomer Sir Patrick Moore died at 89, after BBC News. He has been the host of the famous TV show The sky at night (on BBC) since its creation on 1957 and a writer. I possess one of his books, about observations of the night sky by naked eye. That's why I know him and I pay homage to him.

Some words in Na'vi, in homage of Sir Patrick Moore:

Ngari txe'lan sì tìomum 'ìyì'awn txonä tawmì, vewng ngati 'Rrtal sì Eywal. Hahaw nìmwey.
Your heart and knowledge will stay in the night sky, Earth and Eywa will take care of you. Sleep peacefully.

He was a great man in Great Britain's astronomy. Even if Sir Patrick Moore had made his time, I have respect for him. It's sad to learn about this, but, sadly, that's life. If you have any comments (about my Na'vi or Sir Moore), write them below.

I also give my condolences to his family, but what I wrote translate that.

It's sad ... I once went to a lecture at the London Natural History Museum where he introduced the guest speaker, Monica M. Grady on the subject, "So does life exist on other planets?".

I'll miss him on our screens :(
