Like Puvomun I have recently translated a chant used in my rituals.

In English it is:
Spiraling into the center
The center of our shield (repeat)
I am the weaver I am the woven one
I am the dreamer I am the dream (repeat)

'ìusheyu nemfa kxamtseng
Kxamtseng ayoengeyä tìhawnu (leyn)
Lu oe täftxuyu lu oe tamäftxu ‘awpo
Lu oe uniltu lu oe unil (leyn)

I am working on another, but it's kind of difficult.  I'll post when I have something.

Irayo, ma Tirea Aean,

A simple question, please: is my translation wrong, or is yours simply better? (I want to know circumstantial things like that.)

Irayo, ma Tirea Aean,

A simple question, please: is my translation wrong, or is yours simply better? (I want to know circumstantial things like that.)
Right. First of all, your sentence contains a number of minor errors that I imagine are just slip-ups.
Ftxozä. Fì'trr oe polamrel pay aylì'u teri Omatikaya.
Excluding these mistakes, your sentence is grammatical, but rather unwieldy. Consider the English sentences "I wrote a lot about the Omatikaya today" vs. "I wrote many words about the Omatikaya today". Which do you think sounds more natural?
We learn from our mistakes only if we are made aware of them.
If I make a mistake, please bring it to my attention for karma.

I am sure of that, and I didn't even have to try very hard for those. ;)

Yes, the first one sounds more natural, but the second one is what I intended to say. ;)

Thank you for explaining and pointing out the errors!

This is based on an old poem I wrote several months ago exclusively for an RP character I hoped to be playing soon on "TTK".  It's really only relevant to him, and I hesitate posting the original English version elsewhere due to fears of either drawing ire from the opposing in-game faction or from reypeyyomyu fandom... as my said new RP toon is *coughawerewolfcough*.  For safety's sake, I'm keeping the original English version of the poem under spoiler tags to prevent any undue messiness.

That said, yes, I had a little help this time, but only because I was trying to expand my fairly limited vocabulary.  Those newly learned words are highlighted in red.  The rest is an application from what I've learned from the Prezis and what was discussed in last week's lessons.
