Is Na'vi the name of the language?

The name Na'vi, from what I know, pertains to the race of humanoid beings that live on Pandora. Now, I have never heard one of these beings call their language Na'vi; I have only heard humans say so. So, one of the things I ask is this: 

Should the term "Na'vi" refer to the race or the language.

For those who say it should refer to the race only, should there be a new name for the language? Perhaps the new word could be something like "The Word of the People".

Also: If this is in the wrong place, I am sorry; I knew not where to put it.

In what language?  In Na'vi itself, you cannot use Na'vi alone to refer to the language.  You have to use either an adverb or use the phrase lì'fya leNa'vi the Na'vi language.  But in English it's fine to use the word for both the people and the language, as we all — including Paul Frommer — have been doing for several months now.

I speak Na'vi
Na'vi descrives how you speak, you could say: I speak Na'vily for that matter, but english has no -ly ending on languages as adverbs.

I think of it as referring to a broader concept of "may the Na'vi and their language bloom/thrive." They are not real, but a metaphor for lots of things that ARE (including the language).

I believe that was originally a comment on the ma sempul letter that Frommer adopted as a slogan, it's possible he never got round to correcting Marcus from Galway's usage.
