Just wanted to say how fun it is to attend a Native American/First Nations People Pow-Wow/Arts Festival. I was at one today that took place at the Sussex County Fairgrounds in Northern New Jersey, and it was great! Wonderful performances of native dancers and singers, great native foods, beautiful native arts and crafts for sale...I loved it!  :)

I think it's just good to show support for these native peoples and their cultures, and attending these large gatherings is one way I show my support and appreciation.  8)

Do you have any website links that you could share? I am sure many people would like to learn more.

Now the big question is: did you dance?

No, I didn't...but it was fun watching the dancing that took place there.  :D

And for Markì --
Here's a website to check out: www.redhawkcouncil.org

That's the site of the Redhawk Native American Arts Council, which sponsored the Pow-Wow/Festival I attended.
