Kaltxì, ma frapo!

I'm currently stuck with an expression that I need to translate to Na'vi, but unfortunately there aren't any words so far to accommodae for the meaing that I require.

It's the German expression "Schwerer Fehler" (= bad mistake), howeer, so far I haen't found anything to add the meaning of additional significant ramifications to that. Starting with the German expression, I'm inclined to utilize ku'up as the adjectie here although it implies physical weight - however, could this possibly be used in a figurative sense here to add an extra significance to the implied ramifications?

Kaltxì ma Ningey,

indeed ku'up cannot be used here. Although other words like txukx or mek can be used metaphorically, no instance of ku'up existsts, so it refers only to physical weight.

I'm inclined to say apxa kxeyey as the only way for now to add extra gravitas to a mistake. But maybe somebody else has another idea.

This might be a worthy LEP candidate. Figurative meanings of words were always supposed to be part of the project.

This. Maybe also kxeyey afe', but it sounds too literal (and someone could also expect something like kxeyey asìltsan  ;D) Or what about kxeyey lehawng?

Hìtxoa, slä oe ke tsun mivllte...
The problem is that the first suggestion is a tautology, and the second would imply evil. However, mistakes aren't inherently evil. What is supposed to be expressed here is added gravity, however, these two suggestions seem to miss this goal. Maybe the figurative sense of ku'up should, after all, be added to the LEP.

Kxeyey asìltsan...  :o ;D

I think you're confusing lehawng 'excessive' with kawng 'evil' ;)

I think lehawng would actually work  :-\
