I see that Reference Grammer §3.3.4 is "marooned", whether fra + ay+ becomes fray+, but I still have a question for the powers-at-be and Na'vi speakers in general.

In English, we distinguish between "Search everywhere/every place he's gone" and "Search all the places he went".  This lead me to think Na'vi would have

A. Fwivew fratsengit a po kolä
and
B. Fwivew fraysengit a po kolä

Fko say that we only should use A, not B.  But I say they are different.  What say aynga?

Frahemlì'u or frakemlì'u? If fra- can be used in conjunction with number marking, I have a series of follow-up questions for some later time (which is summarized pretty neatly as: "framesute?").

Although I think Wm. Annis is on the right track in thinking that fra- and ay+ could contract into fray+, you will notice that this in pink in the refrence grammar. Anything in pink is something that Wm. Annis suspects to be the case, but has not been confirmed. And even if fra- and ay+ contract into fray+, I sort of doubt that this will result in an attested prefix. It is just one of those 'Na'vi things' you will have to remember.

This reminds me that even the greatest minds have the right to make some little mistakes, because without them a progress in knowledge wouldn't be possible.
Personally, I prefer to not (yet) combine fra- with plural forms, until explicit confirmation ta Karyu Pawl, and subsequent legalisation of fray+.

I agree, would be nice to cover this subtle differences in meaning. Nice, but not critically required.
