So, now we learn the words, why not try remembering?
Here, the first person writes a word (and they may write an example sentence too), and the second translates the word (translating sentence, optional) and then give the new word, which starts from the last letter of the previous word (plus sentencee) . We'll just then repeat the cycle again and again.

-am- is a theoretical past tense (general) - based on the pattern of tense infixes -ay-, -ìy-, (none), -ìm-, *-am-

I don't think I've actually SEEN an example of general past tense used, just past proximate, so that's still a very big guess, and should be taken with a whole salt shaker.

Although, you should probably add an a- before ftue if it is modifying fì'upxareyä, or put a nì- in front of it if it is actually an adverb modifying tslam.  

I'm not sure if tslam lu works though, seems like a Germanic language construct to me, how about:

Did you mean without a object (for the first clause)? If you don't have an object, then I don't think the -l suffix is needed. Perhaps make the first 'nga' the topic of the sentence instead? So you'd get 'Eyk ngari, fu ngati ayeyk frapol.'

As for 'ayeyk', it looks to be tricky business with one-syllable verbs, even more so with those which start with a vowel. But going strictly by the grammar rule (infixes go after the consonant of the penultimate syllable), should it therefore be 'eykay'? Hmm, anyone else more knowledgeable on this than me?

Yep that's right, but I meant just one clever teacher, rather than many.
(karyu = teacher, aykaryu = teachers )

I'll let someone else do your sentence, but grammar-wise, you don't need the -ti when you use a preposition like mì, or the -l when you use lu (it's an intransitive verb)
