Why do those words seem to be getting mixed up with each other?

N.K.: fko might say oeri kop for "me too" instead of oeri nìteng.

Because they are both adverbs meaning also, too, as well.

I would say "me, too" as a one-phrase shot should usually be oe nìteng.

The secret here is nìteng means "too, also" in the sense of "similarly," while kop means "in addition, as well".  There's something of an ambiguity in the English "me, too" — are you emphasizing the similarity or are you emphasizing an additional bit of information about you.

So, my signature has Ftayem nìteng fì'ul, "this, too, shall pass."  For a while I had in kop, but that's a mistake in sense really.  The point of the saying is that everything is alike in this regard.

Exactly.  Just wanted to address the issue ;)

if I understand it correct, kop could be used only if the subject of action changes, right? For example:

Fìtrr oe tayaron. - Today I will hunt.
Oe kop (fìtrr tayaron). - I too.

but

Oer sunu tìtusaron. - I like hunting.
Oer nìteng (sunu tìtusaron). - I too.

Hmm... :-\

You could say nìteng is for adjectives and adverbs, kop for nouns

That doesn't really capture the distinction.  Both words can be used with any sort of word.

Oe kop lu taronyu I am, in addition, a hunter.
Oe nìteng lu taronyu I'm a hunter, too.
  etc.
