Based on what? I'm just curious, since I don't see a Corpus source or so, where it is spelled Neytìri. What we have is

If Neytiri is sleeping, for example, you would say "Neytiri herahaw." But if Neytiri hunted a hexapede ("yerik"), you would say "Neytiril yerikit tolaron."

in the MSNBC-interview.

Also Cameron uses "Neytiri" in his script.

Based on the dictionary entry for Neytìri.  One of 'em's wrong... and the entry had matching IPA, so I figured it was the better researched of the two.
