I am a 56 year old female. Sci fi fan since age 13 when Star Trek TOS came on, anime fan since 1980, into cosplay, saw Star Wars (the first one) 103 times in the theaters (no vhs or dvds then for most folks) and usually in costumes ranging from R2DT to Tuskin Raiders, went to Star Trek the Experience in Las Vegas a dozen times, and have made the trek to Tikaboo Mountain that overlooks Area 51 to rocks for my friends....But Avatar tops them all for me...20 times viewed in 3D in the theater, twice in 2D, own all the toys, commissioned an incredible one of a kind Neytiri sculpture you'd have to see to believe, and buncha shirts including the best one...from LearnNa'vi.org!

I think it's great that we have such a wide age range on here, even if it is concentrated in one particular area :D. When we get one (we will) in the 65+ category and have someone in every age range, we need to have a party ;D

Maybe then we will have to look at under 10... ::)
Anyone feel free to add me on msn or skype: [email protected]

What happens when someone ends up needing to change categories?  Say from 16-20 to 21-25?

A new re-poll after oen year would be sufficient to keep the data up to date I think. Almost half way there now!

Gosh, it's hard to imagine LN is still so young, I feel like I've known you guys for ever <3

Well, all I can say is that you should be prepared to know some of us for a LONG time.

Yeah, I hope that Na'vi continues to draw a crowd. It's also good to see the diversity in the age groups.

As of now, I'm 15. :o

What is the exact founding date of this site, I knew it once, but I've forgotten it now.

Payoang signed up on the 21st of December and was the first member (presumably the original admin so was created with the forum) so I'd expect that to be the starting date.

And Avatar was released into theaters the 18th, correct?  So Avatar was three days old when LN.org was created.

No reason for you to know in the first place stalker :P

For once though we got it first, it's a shame that nothing really got going about the language until the American release. Oh well, that's what you get for having a much smaller population.

I think it's just that we Americans are crazier.  Crazy enough to start a site like this (though I am thankful for craziness in this case).
