I found this site and started learning plltxe nìNa'vi almost two years ago. I worked at it for a few weeks and eventually faded away from it. Over that time I was quite busy with work and school, but from time to time my mind would wander back to it and I would think about still wanting to learn. then last weekend, out of nowhere, it hit me. I do want to learn this. The only thing is, I can't explain why I want to. I know no one that speaks it, or would want to. Most people I know would give me endless hell if they knew. But still I want to. So here I am. Studying and learning again, and enjoying every minute of it. Not caring what others think. And to that I say Kaltxì ma smuk, I'm glad to be back.

P.S. I hope this is the appropriate place for this post.

Ulte etrìpa syayvi.  And good luck. :)

Life is about following your heart.  I'm sure we're all glad that you followed it back to LN, even if your head can't explain why your heart loves Na'vi. ;D

Txantsan!

I think many people here cannot explain, or can barely explain what draws them to the Na'vi language. All I know is when I came here three and a half years ago, I never imagined I would be sticking with it like I have. Learning Na'vi has opened an entire new world for me!

Well, I think I can't explain it too, but.... is it really necessary to be able to explain everything? ;D

welcome back!

Another Ateyo! (Yes, it is a boy's name but I am funny that way!)
When I sat the movie two years ago, it resonated deeply in my heart.
Oeyä muntäate, Niri Tawä found this group and urged me to join.
"All right," I groused,  "But don't expect me to learn that language!"
Now I am writing a an fiction and incorporating sentences into my story.
AND I've started creating MEMs for MEMRISE to help learners with new words!

I just found the memrise courses last night. Really fun and a big help with learning the vocabulary.

At first I was unhappy to be learning words by themselves.  I didn't believe that I would retain this information.  But the Mems help and I'm having tones of creating the cartoons.  I hope they help make the words stick!
