Hello from someone who has never seen the movie before! I'm here just for the language part of this website ^^. I am fascinated by any kind of foreign language (conlang or not), and I'm trying to pick up ideas because I want to try and construct my own language. It's a hobby. Anyways, I am also interested in learning some of this language, because it sounds nice (when I try to pronounce the words... probably pronouncibg them wrong XD). Anyways, hi from your language obsessed friend ^^.
Splinkle, trinkle, drip, drop. Water's coming from the skyyyy. Typeity, clickety, ping, tock. I am singing with the keeeyboard. Yep, I'm bored.

You are on the right place regarding languages and it's wonderful that you have found that nice place. :) :D
As for the audio, there is an Audio board, where you can listening to some examples created by various members.

Have fun! :)

Btw: your thread title is awesome, I love it! (Yes, variety!)

For pronunciation guidance, you could try the youtube videos by TireaAean an Paul Frommer himself .....

Also I can strongly recommend the movie, having seen the trailers I expected it to suck, I was wrong! Give yourself a treat and go watch it - in 3D if you can.
One word of warning, it's nearly three hours long, so go to the can before you press play!
Pasha, an Avatar story, my most recent fanfic, Avatar related, now complete.

The Dragon Affair my last fanfic, non Avatar related.

Hi, and thanks for the pronunciation examples!  :) and I'll try to get the movie watched sooner or later. Since I don't really have much to do, it'll probably still be later... (Hey, not my fault! I learned about procrastination from my brother. Blame him.)

If you haven't already, you should also check out the Language Creation Society http://www.conlang.org

In addition, LearnNavi supports the languages developed for the HBO 'Game of Thrones' series at http://www.dothraki.org There you will find the Dothraki language, and two different variations of the Valyrian language.

Hello. ;)

Every letter in each language has a little bit different pronunciation. So when you'll be making your own language, remember that. ;)  So 'y' or 'a'... will has special pronunciation, if you'll want. But it must make some sense. ;)

Good luck with your language. ;)

If you haven't got a copy already, Mark Rosenfelder's "The Language Construction Kit" is an excellent resource. It is available in print and online.

Hmm.. I think I've seen conlang.org a few times, but didn't really search around. And thanks for the Dothraki stuff! I always enjoy learning about new languages. And I've already read Mark Rosenfelder's kit many times ^^.
