Paulie2510

Hi, I am Paulie2510 and I am trying to learn na´vi language.
It is really hard because I am from Slovakia and I have to translate everything to slovak lang. first, Because learning another language in another language is hard as hell.
But perhaps you could tell me what to begin with. Grammar vocabulary or ponunciation.

Hello Paulie!
I'm not sure if there are more Slovak people (I'm guess no). But you can check Czech section. It is not very active, but we have up-to-date dictionary and grammar translated into Czech language, it could help you. Really, learning foreign language using another foreign language is pain, but it is not impossible. What you need:
- learn some basic vocabulary (somewhere in beginner sub-forum there's list of useful words. It is a little outdated, but still usefull)
- learn basic rules. Try Na'vi in a nutshell, or our Czech grammar translation
- learn to speak. Last but one post at Na'viteri contains audio samples
there's a lot of material to study here in various parts of the forum, like Le'eylan's prezi lessons, try them too. And ASK whenever you need a help. Without asking you will not learn.
Have a fun here, you find here a lot of people who help you.
and you are always welcome in Czech subforum.

Good luck!

If you know Slovak, I am guessing there is a very good chance you know Russian. If that is the case, there is a very active Russian contingent here, with their own learning tools. Maybe that would be more comfortable for you.

Explore, try and ask - this is my short recommendation for you.
Look around for any available resources, try to find your own best1) way of learning, and ask everytime and everywhere if some question arises. :)
Things are not as complicated as they look, and here is always bunch of people willing to help.

1) Best not means "learn as much material as possible in shortest time", but rather "have fun with language and enjoy it"  ;D
